I was needing a new bra to replace my other Wacoal bras that were 42DD, but seemed a little too small. I thought that a larger cup would fix the problem, but both bras I bought were too big. Nothing wrong with the bra. I should have measured better or something???

I wear these bras daily. The comfort and style fit my lifestyle.

After trying many types of bras, this is the only one for me. It actually supports me (36 DDD), even jogging. The difference it makes in how I look in clothing is remarkable. It is comfortable even with the underwire. I may still have a few other bras in the drawer from years ago, but these are the only ones I wear and continue to buy.

It is a really a luxury appearing bra that is not only comfortable but makes my sweaters and knit tops fit perfectly.

Started out with a fitting at local department store and loved the look, feel and fit. Came to Freshpair.com to reorder same bra. I wore it every day (except when working outside in Florida summer) and the integrity of the fabric/elastic support sides, etc., has lasted over two years. Always wash in cold water, gentle cycle, Ivory liquid soap, and air dry. Other bras just stretch out and the elastic sides totally wear out. I'm sold on quality of Walcoal and just ordered two more to replace the ones purchased in 2009!!

I wear this bra every day and only hand wash it. I will order another as this is the first time I've tried this type.

Good minimizer and very comfortable

January 2008 I had surgery for the removal of esophageal cancer. For the actual removal there is an incision that runs from just beneat the breasts for about 6 inches. At first I didn't care. Then I used a camisole. Next I graduated to a sports bra. Even finding one of those wasn't easy. I can run my thumb and forefinger along the hem between the cups and know whether it is worth trying on or not. Most aren't. There is a nasty ridge there.

Then came the day when I had to have a decent bra. We were going to Boston for our daughter's convocation at Harvard. Downtown one day, I happened to spot an undergarment boutique, decided I had nothing to lose for seeing if they could help.
Help they did. I tried on only one bra... the Wacoal 5185 in a 40C
It felt great. I left, happy to have ONE bra that would work for this and any other special event.

I love this bra as I am 5 ft tall and wear a 34DD which is a difficult bra to find that gives, shape, comfort and support for everyday wear and this does it 100%. I work in a high profile position and looking professional and stylish everyday is important and this really enhances everything I wear and the fit.

Bought this bra after co-worker (40DD) RAVED over the comfort and fit. I'm a 36DD and it is comfortable and fits well. I have Wacoal bras that provide excellent support without bulk, but needed a seamless bra for knits and tees. I bought this bra and a pair of the (don't waste your $ on these either) Wacoal concealer cup inserts since this bra doesn't conceal the headlights. It's a minimizer®, and they reduce the bust by spreading the tissue lower and to the sides. There wasn't enough lift and that only became worse as the bra stretched out. I was hoping the built-in slings would help. Forget it. After 6 months of gentle hand-washing/hang-drying one of the built-in slings tore leaving a long bumpy ridge of material sandwiched inside the cup and along the side of the bra. Wish I'd returned it sooner.

I am full figured and wear a 44DD and it is hard to find comfortable bras that fit properly and give enough support. I hit the jackpot when I found this bra. This is by far the most comfortable and good fitting bra that I have found and well worth the price.

I have the lift and support that I need plus not as much overhang on sides and back.

For a "full figure" bra, this should provide better coverage. Maybe this is for a 30-yr.old full figure? My 40-yr.+ body needs higher coverage on the sides! I find that I "spill over" from the sides. Seems like they skimped on the cups. Too bad, because higher support on the sides would've made this a great bra for me.

I have worn this style Wacoal for over 5 years..have tried other styles, and like them too, but keep coming back to this one. The 4 hook closure gives the very best support for full figure. Smooth cups are great for all purposes.

Often, I find with some bras, the band stretches out after a while, and my breasts begin to sag, making me uncomfortable and self conscious. I ordered a Walcoal Bodysuede Full Figure Seamless bra, and after wearing it for a few months, I discovered that the bra's proportions had remained exactly the same, even though it had (mistakenly) been washed in the washer once. I ordered another one, and I now wear them under tee shirts, sweaters and clingy tops, confident that my breasts are correctly and comfortably positioned, and supported perfectly.

This bra is very comfortable when exercising...it offers great support and the material seems to wick the moisture away from the body. I would definitely buy this bra again.

The cups are the best I have ever worn as they have a small, half moon shaped padded area just under the breast and above the band which increases comfort enormously.

I bought four other styles of Wacoal bras. They did not compare with this one. I love the style, comfortable straps, and fabric. You can't fix perfect. Try this one - you'll love it. AGAIN, MORE COLORS PLEASE.

I've worn the same bra for years so was surprised when trying this -- it's really nice, fits very well, is nice looking and I like the padded straps. Straps slip a bit but not as much as with other bras. I like it! I'll buy more!

I have 3-4 bras in this style and they're definitely my go-to bras when comfort counts. I also find myself going to them when wearing something light weight since there's no lace to show through.

When I opened this bra I LOVED the way and it felt and looked! I was so hopeful, but when I put it on, I bubbled over the cup. I am a 32 DDD so it is tough for me to find a good fitting bra. I so wished this had fit because it was so soft and comfortable!

This bra fit perfect and it feels like you don't have one on. It does not ride up when you more and you don't have to keep adjusting it throughout the day.

The inside foam 'shape re-enforcement' on the outer sides of the cups becomes detached after a few washings. I stitch them in place when I first get them in order to keep them in place. Otherwise I love the bra. Actually, I wish it came in a larger cup size.

I was trying to find a replacement bra for one I loved ... that is now discontinued. Then every similar bra I saw was also being discontinued. I am disappointed! I have learned [...] that if you want the molded cup ("contoured" as Wacoal describes it), this isn't the bra I wanted. The picture made the cups look fully lined/foam filled. It has a "loose" fabric cup, with no foam cup support. On cold days, a girl has got to have some "protection!" This wouldn't be that bra. I have returned it and am trying other styles. Hopefully they won't be discontinued soon too!

i wear this bra most days and it is comfortable even with the underwire. it has good support but i would like to see the band a little wider throughout to the end and including the closure part. overall, i do love it. it was a bit snug at first but after wearing it to try it out to decide if it fit, it's very comfortable.

I have been using this bra style for several years. They are the only bras I wear as I no other bras I have tried give me the "youthful" support and shape that this bra does. I always have two or three of these in rotation and they last me close to a year to a year and a half each until they get moved into sleep rotation. (Yes I wear them to sleep too!)

I do a lot of heavy lifting in my job and need a bra that is comfortable for up to 15 hours a day. I ordered this bra in black, then ordered a couple of other bras in white, but returned them the 2 white bras and got this bra in white. The straps stay in place, it is comfortable all day long and looks good for work or play.

Love this bra! The only downfall is the lace trim, it shows through on a white t-shirt. Otherwise this is the best! My breasts (34DDD) look perky and get great coverage in this bra. I plan on purchasing more.

Wacoal is the only brand (and I have tried and tried others)that suits me. I have other Wacoals and am very happy with all of them, but this is the bra which I depend on most. It is very supportive and comfortable and fits perfectly. Can be worn with anything, and excepting as a sport or leisure/sleep bra, it looks great under any garment. (My size is 34D)

I like the bra for t-shirts on weekends and under some shirts for work. It is comfortable and does what it needs to do. I would not run while in it though. LOL! I think I need to go from a 34 to a 32 to get the security I think I need. Overall, very recommended for casual use.

The extra padding inside the cups eventually becomes separated, causing a bump in the cup that can't be fixed.

excellent side support

First, made in the USA is very important to me. So I was thrilled when I found a bra that fit and was comfortable. I discovered this bra 3 years ago after years of struggling trying to find the right bra for me. As long as this bra is made I will be buying it.

I'm a 36 DDD and found the cups run on the small side, and the stretch in the straps allow too much "bounce". I'm disappointed since the reviews are so good! Had to send this back.

I'm a 34D who is looking for serious support. Unfortunately, I did not find it in this bra. I guess I didn't think I would when I saw that it had a think back strap that was 2 hooks wide. But I did wear it in hopes that maybe I was just used to the super-duty binders that I usually wore. After wearing it all day I noticed that my "curves" went from relatively normal height to kind of droopy?? I don't understand how the other users were able to rate it so high? I'm not returning mine, only because I did wear it and the return policy won't let you return items worn. Expensive lesson learned!

I ordered two of these bras based on my size and the reviews I read about them. I must say, they are GREAT and I have ordered two more. They hug the body and make me forget that I am wearing a bra. I love the support and comfort (no more giggling).

As my bust seems to spread outward, I wish this comfortable bra would push my bust inward more than it does...also they seem to stretch out more quickly than other materials. At 40DDD, it is difficult to find bras that fit as well as this one. Just wish for stronger side support.

I am a 38DD and have found it difficult to locate a bra that is both attractive and provides support. This bra is extremely comfortable, although sometimes toward the end of the day I am bothered by the underwire. I alternate between this bra and a sports bra from Champion that is made for large busted women. The Waacoal bra is much prettier, however, so I always choose this bra if I am going out or want to feel particularly good. I love the french nude color and have found a favorite pair of panties that almost matches it (from Jockey).

I wear this bra every day. It NEVER rides up or shifts around and the straps stay where I put them! No more dangling straps and no more hooks on my shoulder blades! The coverage is complete and I don't have a bubble top. It is so comfortable I don't realize I have it on and I am worry free for the first time in years.

Description says "lightly lined". It's VERY lightly lined. If you are bashful about nipples showing, this isn't the bra for you. But, man, it is comfortable and the side panels keep you front and center.

Tried this on elsewhere and bought in other colors, ordered the rest from Freshpair for better selection. I am full figured, a D cup, but not overweight, so I need the support but a narrower band than most bras provide

This is a good bra at a good price with great coverage. It is not as stylish as some - but the Wacoal quality is still there

This bra did not smash and spread me out in its effort to support, as other 32Ds and 32DDs have done, but it lifts and gives good shape instead. The material is not great for hot weather though - it does not breathe at all or absorb sweat. So far it's the best one I've tried since I decided to switch from 34Ds because they always got way too stretched out. We'll see how the band holds up - so far so good for the last couple weeks, and since it's 32 I've got plenty of room to tighten if it stretches.

Take the time to go to [...] or some other place where they will help you determine your *actual* size. I found I was buying too small a cup size and too big a back size. I feel/look so much better with the right size bra!

I've always enjoyed Wacoal bras, but so far, this one is the best I've had. When it arrived, I tried it on and it was perfect. With my other bras, I can't wait to get them off at the end of the day, but with this bra, I hardly notice I still have it on.

I had previously purchased several bras from a popular lingerie retailer at the local mall and found that that for the price they were very poorly made and came apart within 5 months of my purchase. So on a recommendation from my sister I purchased the Wacoal full figure bodysuede bra and am extremly satisfied with everything about it. Good quality and fit. Best Bra I've ever owned.

...you won't go back to a cheap bra. I bought my first of this style a few years ago, and just bought my second. I'm a 34C, and don't need any extra padding or pushuup. I'm not huge, but like good support in a seamless bra. This is the one for me.

I bought this bra because of the endorsement by Redbook readers as the best everyday bra. It really is. I pick this one to wear unless it's dirty. Comfort, support, and excellent fit- no "leakage" beneath the underwire.
