Spanx Slimplicity Girl Short 393SP
Although this undergarment provides good control in the stomach and upper thigh areas, the openings at the thigh area are too large. That is this part of the shaper does not cling to the legs--and my thighs are not at all thin! I have never had a similar problem with other Spanx products; however, this is my first experience with a girl short design. I expected better.
I would have to say that my review is based on my expectations. I had purchased the girl shorts before this purchase and think they are great for those shorter skirts and for making certain garments look smoother. The simplicity line is very restricting and uncomfortable however I wasn't buying to hold anything in, just to do what I had expected from the regular "girl short". I was sold by the "cool comfort" since it is summer. I also found this line to come up high on the waste and for me isn't what I like. I am 5'2 at 110 lb's so my purchase was more about having a bit covered when wearing shorter skirts/dresses in locations that might have me going up and down stairs. ;) If you are looking for a girdle like panty then this will work for you. Given that...I love spanx!
I have worn these under shorts, dresses, capris and pants. Amazingly cool in warm weather. No panty lines. Smooths everything out beautifully, so they are snug, but so comfortable you forget you have them on. I have other pairs of Spanx, but these are the best!!
