I purchased this because I needed a body shaper for under my wedding dress. When I first received it it looked wayyyyy too small but I was able to get it on since it is very stretchy. Its very thin and comfortable and does not show through clothes. It does smooth out quite nicely, I wish it flattened the tummy more. Not quite as much figure shaping support as I was hoping for but over all nice and comfy.

This is an expensive useless product. It absolutely does not shape or hold - it actually made it harder to fit in my dress. I didn't find it helped shape anywhere. For the same useless, non shaping effect the cheaper high power does the same useless non-shaping job.
I had to get the small even though according to the size chart I should be a medium but the top of the cognito didnt end under my bra - it made it all the way to my shoulders. I tried both sizes on and both sizes did not shape my body at all!!!
Spanx is over-rated and ridiculously priced.

UNFORTUNATELY.. I got it one size too small, so I am not happy with the product at all.. It did not do what I had hoped, and I believe that even in the correct size it wouldn't have made a difference in sucking in my stomach.. I'm overwieght but not obese and it did nothing for me...

Over a year after retirement I had gained 30 pounds and could no longer fit in my clothes. I came upon this item during an online search. Some of its reviews indicated that it was too large, therefore I ordered it a size smaller than the sizing chart indicated. I can again wear my clothes comfortably and without the appearance of fat rolls. Losing weight is the final solution, but until then I am totally satisfied with the performance of this product.
