I expected more of this product. I was very disappointed with the way it rolled up at the thighs. You could see the indentations where the legs of the garment were rolling up. I would not buy this product again. I am very dissapointed, spending [$] on a product I will never use again.

I bought this item to take on a cruise. It was perfect for helping to smooth under slacks and cocktail attire. I would buy this again.

I love the idea, but the thing that bugged me the most, is the waistband rolled down. If I had known that I would have gotten the higher version. Also, I found they were very tough to get on, but once on it was pretty comfortable. I also still noticed a panty line around my waist so I was disappointed in that too. Won't buy this style anymore, I'll see how the higher style turns out.

I just received this product and can't pass it above one thigh.
The size chart isn't applicable. I have to return them for two sizes (I hope) larger.

I really liked them - They feel very supportive (though a bit tricky to get on). Very comfortable once you have got them in place.

I ordered my Spanx using the guide provided, but was disappointed that they are not true to size as some reviewers indicated so mine are too small. I would have like it if the material was silkier so it doesn't cling to dresses or skirts. I would recommend the product and suggest taking a gamble and order the next size up.

I don't feel like they do much slimming hence I should have probably ordered a smaller size.

I have been using Spanx power panties for over 4 years and it really makes a difference as to how I look and feel in my pants and skirts. It keeps everything smooth and in its place. I am a petite person and use it for shaping and smoothing. I love that if you perspire, it will not get sticky or clingy, especially in the summer. Once you try this product, you will never go back.

I used this product under a formal dress that I wore all day & then during a High School Graduation. These are one of the most comfortable things I have ever put on. If you buy this product make sure you look at the sizing chart to get the right size for you, they go on a little snug but stretch out during the day.

Everyone has told me how much they like their spanx and I tried it on and I can pay $6 for the same thing. I wore it for a couple of hours and it did not stay up. I was really disapointed, and now I lost [$].

I wear spanx every day to the office for a smooth line under dresses. I also have a lower back problem and find that they offer great support and reduce my back pain. I have a small waist but relatively big thighs and find it very difficult to get underwear that doesn't dig in or roll up in the thigh - Spanx are the best I've found so far.

These are a must for anyone wanting support in an undergarment.

I found that the sizing was a little too small and after wearing for a longer period they became uncomfortable because it was too tight around the waist. Having known this, i would have rather purchased the higher cut model. Otherwise, i was very impressed with how they stayed in place and did not pinch the leg.

Needed a garment to smoothe my thighs. They worked. Only should have had longer legs. The legs rolled up on my legs creating an unseemly lump of excess me under my pants. Still, love these power panties!

These power spanx are great under pants and dresses. I used them right after I had my baby, and it helped with stomach muscles. It is also does show through the garment you are wearing no matter how thing the fabric covering it is. Had a but of trouble sometime with teh top band rolling down if I don't pull it up high enough, that was the only issue that made me look into highwasted spanx. Other than that great product!

this is my first time at trying shapewear. I had terrible visions of what these may be like but am amzed by how comfortable they are.

I looked forward to receiving these, since I'd read so many great things about them. Personally, I derived a better effect by simply cutting off an old pair of control top pantyhose.(I actually tried this after trying the Power Panties on, just to check.)Look, I'm admittedly overweight, but certainly not obese, by any stretch of the imagination. I purchased the size indicated by the sizing chart (my weight/height combination puts me squarely in the middle of the size I purchased, which wasn't the smallest or the largest) so they should have fit properly. While they do feel true to size everywhere else, the waistband continually rolls down, creating a not-so-attractive roll right above where the band ends--the end effect is worse than when I wear my regular, non-slimming panties. I am nearly 50 yrs old and wear a size 4 to 6. I'd heard such great things about Spanx, I decided this would be great for that extra firmness we girls need as we "mature" physically. The fit was good at first, but I went to a formal event and the whole night I was pulling at the waist. It would roll down and I would pull it back up, until I decided not to fight it anymore. I thought I'd just let the waist ride a little lower and prevent the rolling. So I adjusted my spanx, smoothed my dress and went back into the event. New problem - The spanx kept sliding down lower and lower.

The waist was really an issue - until they fix that I don't think I'd buy another pair.

It's the only underwear I use when wearing pants, no VPL as promised, I hate thongs. I wish it came in white for summer pants or skirts.

Spanks are amazing. I was a little skeptical at first because I have tried other similar products but felt they smoothed me out in some areas only to cause bulges in others. Spanx made me completely smooth and I felt much more comfortable when wearing dresses that hugged my figure. You can not tell at all that you are wearing it underneath your clothes.

I bought this to wear under dresses for 2 reasons: to keep my thighs from rubbing together in the heat and to keep everything in its place. This product did it all for me!

Helps out tummy bulge but rolls down after wearing to long next time i will get the panties not the shorts type.

Best thing is that you get support w/o having to wear pantyhouse, which are out of style. Not good under short dresses. Especially under dresses that are a bit longer.

The dress I wore it with flared out at the bottom so I didn't get to see the effects. It was comfortable.

I never thought I would be able to wear these as I feel my thighs are fat and thought the fabric would make them "bulge". I have to say these are the most comfortable things I have recently purchased. did not feel a sausage nor did I look like one. I wore them under a fairly tight knit dress and I admit, my body looked like when I was 20. Ladies, get these, wear them, you will be suprised at the comfort and softness and the major difference of how they transform you body. A must for anyone!!

Great fit, one of the more comfortable shapewear products I have tried, there are others that are cheaper, but the quality and comfort cannot compare to SPANX!!

I was hoping for two things with the spanx--number one to smooth out the "rough" spots and to not have as many lines as the typical girdles. It does smooth but not as well as lycra alternatives. The lines are much better with these than with my others but they feel like panty hose and when you put them on you have to be careful not to run them or rip them they are flimsy. I expected more for [$]. All I got were some pantyhose that have mild support. I would not recommend if you really want to shape yourself there are much better products out there. These are way way overpriced for what you get.

I am not by any means overweight but I have thick thighs from being an athlete. I was looking for something that I could wear with skirts because my thighs rub together and it is incredibly painful and its actually gotten so bad at times that I was bleeding from the chafing. I thought these would be as great as everyone says they are, but they're not perfect for me. The top rolls down whenever I bend down to pick something up, and they are very thick for the summer months. While there is no seaming at the bottom, they are so snug that it actually cuts into my leg, esp. on the inner thigh where its softer, so I definitely could not wear these with a pair of tight pants. They didn't even suck anything in like they claim to, though it did make everything a little firmer so I do see the merit in wearing it with something fitted. They are pretty comfortable other than the rolling at the top. While I will keep these and use them, my quest for the ideal undergarment continues.

I noticed the waistband will roll down slightly upon standing and sitting multiple times. I also wore these w/lower rise jeans, which the waistband comes up too high. These would be best suited for a dress or suit where you are not worried about your top riding up and revealing the spanx. That said, I definitely felt a bit more svelt and "held in". I think I just need to experiment w/ styles of spanx to find the right type for each outfit. Overall a great product!

I was trying to add comments above, now see I have more text room here : This item received much good press, however I found it very uncomfortable: did not provide support as promised and is extremely warm to wear. I wore it once and will not ever wear it again. A real waste of money. If I could return it I would.

I bought the smallest size and it still feels too big.

These are great! One thing, be honest about your height and weight. That's the way to get the best pair. If you read and follow the directions for putting them on, they stay in place and as my son said "they make your butt look smaller". I wore them out for a night of salsa dancing. I never felt a moment where I needed to "adjust" myself. I'm a convert. They will go under every dress, skirt and fitted pair of pants I own. About the snagging, make sure your hands are smooth they will catch on rough hands.

It slims and firms my tummy and bottom and makes me look great in my clothes.

I like this product they are very soft and comfortable for the most part. However, I think I picked the wrong style for my body type. They don't full cover my stomach so I should have picked the style that goes up to your breasts. The waiste cuts across the upper part of my stomach and rolls down a little which isn't that comfortable. I am always trying to pull them up higher. I do like the way they feel but I will not get much use out of this pair. because Think about what style would be best for you. I thought the higher up pair would be too hot in the Summer. I think it would have fit better. P.S. They are tight (not painfully so) I would go up a size rather than trying to squeeze into a smaller size. Choose wisely!

This is the first time trying this version of Spanx - absolutely terrific - great for everyday wear, but I would not recommend for clingy or slinky wear - these are best with jeans or pants. They stay in place and are very comfortable - I would recommend them highly! Freshpair sent them lightning fast - I'm very pleased with the entire experience!

Even my mother, who is quite critical thinks i look EVER so much better in these beauties!! They are comfortable, once you learn how to best get them on (which DOES take some doing, but is well-worth it!!)and they shape you beautifully,, with a natural-line look. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them--even tho' the cost seems high, it is WORTH every penny (or dollar, in this case).

I wear these daily under work pants and skirts. They are so comfortable and don't dig into your skin at the thigh the way other brands do. I can wear these shapers all day and don't really feel like I have them on.

I wanted a more smooth look with clingy skirts and dresses in lieu of wearing pantyhose. I ordered twice, once the size the chart suggested and the second time I ordered 2 sizes larger that what the chart showed. While they felt like they fit good, once I had these one for longer than 1 hour I realized they were cutting off my circulation in my abdomen. I had a stomach ache and it felt like my bowels were being strangled. I will never wear these again! I am 5ft. 7 and weigh 125 lbs sp I can't figure out why these didn't work....

I use my Spanx every day. My back feels better and I feel like a new person. I have a new sense of confidence and don't feel as self conscious as I used to about certain parts of my body.

These Spanx are great for a flabby abdomen. I'm losing weight and toning up but I still need some control and the Spanx are perfect.

I've tried other brands of shapewear and found most to be too bulky and/or to lose shape quickly. The Sparx are featherweight and you almost forget you're wearing them.

VERY comfortable, can wear all the time. i have a waist that falls close to my ribs, so i need to also have a longer (higher) fit. i WILL order one. i love this "non-girdle 'girdle'". the price is very good, it does what the advertisement says.

I have rough skin and I am afraid that the fabric will snag and run when putting them on, I wear gloves and this helps. They are great with my more fitted pants! No lines, fat bumps.... I especially love how the legs stay in place and do not roll up!! The Spanx also has great tummy support! I would most definately recommend these to anyone looking for a soft, great felling body shaper!

Can be worn under longer type shorts but seems best with skirts and dresses . it works with some dressy type pants too.

I bought this product to wear under a silk wedding dress. I am glad I put it all together before the actuall wedding because you can see the ridge on my leg against the silk so now I have to make another purchase. Wish I would have known.

I wore this for a semi formal event. The fit was excellent and stayed in place..no bunching, rolling. The waist band was extremely comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints and will certainly buy other Spanx products

I bought the medium, maybe it was the wrong size. It was fine under a dress, but didn't make any real difference. It is thick, so adds its own bulk. Some bulging where it ends. I tried it under pants, but it made my bottom look funny...straight across the bottom and it looks shapeless, like I have on a diaper. My clothes fit snugger with it than without. Maybe it is for bulkier people.

Wow!! From the moment I put Spanx on, I knew

I used the Power Panties to help with a tummy bulge, and it worked as stated. It helps my outfits look and fit better. As far as durability (also warm weather wear), I will wait and see,as I have only had them for two weeks in late fall in New York State. Roll-up of the legs was not a problem if I took my time pulling up my jeans.

At 41 with two children under my belt, my size 6 self isn't quite as tight as I remember. Thanks to Spanx, I can still wear form fitting clothes and be confident my tummy is flat and my tooshie is taught. Way to go Spanx!

I heard great things about Spanx from online reviews, etc, but nobody I actually knew had ever tried them, so I was a little skeptical at first. I decided to go on and try them because I needed something comfortable to wear under my dress for my engagement party, but that also left me totally smooth. I also bought a pair for my mother and sister. We are all completely satisfied with the product. I have never worn control top undergarments that didn't end up bulging me where bulge never existed before. Thsi product is so very comfortble. I was dancing all nite and didn't even worry about it or need to pull it up at all. Thank you to the creators, you are truly miracle workers.

I seriously love these! I had heard a lot of hype about Spanx, but never tried before. I am so pleased with this purchase. This has firm tummy control, but doesn't feel constrictive. The sizing chart is accurate. Eliminates all bulges without giving you "flat butt". I was skeptical about the claims that there are no leg band bulges, but its true!! I will definitely be buying more from this line.

It does what it says it does--great tummy, rear and thigh shaping. Unfortunately, I find it too hot to wear in Florida, especially in the summer.

i only wear under skirts and dress's as i found if you wear them with pants or jeans they creep up.

These have pretty good control and are good for everyday use. These are good but are not as short as I thought they'd be--these are NOT for miniskirts or anything that goes above mid-thigh. The top rolls down quite a bit but I never had it show through either dress I've worn it with. I wore it in hot weather and was a little uncomfortable. Overall, a good buy though.

great for tummy control, however the top rolled down to my waist and started to constrict and the bottom rolled up slightly on my thighs. Best usage is for pants that do not skim the body, best for loose pants, as you can see constriction

While I've worn these before, I wore them for my beach wedding a few weeks ago. Extremely comfortable and stay in place beautifully; do not feel like a girdle at all. don't know when I'd wear again since I was uncomfortable whole time I wore them, and had to constantly try to unroll them on thighs. I'm not heavy (120 lbs) feel that I selected the correct size, yet they did not keep down on thigh

Though I was well within the suggested guidelines for size, they felt too small. The product was also itchy. I wore them for an hour or so, then changed back into another product. Didn't like them at all. Comfort trumps vanity every time.

I even ordered a size larger as suggested. No luck. I believe you need to have a small size frame/body or this won't work. Unfortunately I feel this product would work fine for the ones who REALLY don't need it. But those of us who really DO....

This product is not bad. As with any garment of this type it isnt always the most comfortable. Nothing like freedom of wearing just your panties. But it does shape you and gives us woman what i think we are looking for in this type of garment. I do recommend it.

The Spanx thigh length panty is one of the most comfortable garments I have worn. I have had several abdominal surgeries and need to wear abdominal support. The medical supports won't stay in place, pinch the skin, and do not make allowances for short-waisted people. Spanx has been a pleasant alternative. I plan to buy several more pairs.

the product was comfotable. ordered first product too large. second product, was right size. but had to tug and pull to get on. after got on, product was ok. will probably order more as i lose weight.

I was expecting an entirely different fabric altogether so I never tried them on; plus they seem a lot longer than I thought they would. I wear short dresses sometimes, and I think they would show. I was looking for more of a bike short fabric and a shorter length.

I wanted to use the products for wearing my suits and form fitting dresses. However, after trying them on, I do not think it took off any inches when I looked at myself. I was rather disappointed. I expected more. But, I chose not to send them back. I am going to try wearing them again for more than 2 hours.

I wear my Spanx under pants, skirts & dresses. They are absolutely wonderful! It takes a little work to get them on & at first you really feel the control but after a few minutes of wearing them they are so comfortable. And my thighs don't bulge out at the edges like they do with others. I highly recommend these Spanx, & I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to comfortability!
