Womens Va Bien

Va Bien was founded over 40 years ago. It all started in 1975, when Marianne Gerard came to New York City from France. She came intending to study medicine, but instead, discovered fashion, Richard Gimble, and his family's intimates company.

After falling in love, the two decided to launch a new line of shapewear. At the time, shapewear consisted of bulky panneling that showed through your clothes. Inspired by her French roots, Marianne created a shapewear collection, featuring body suits and other styles, made from silky fabrics, and paneling along the interior. This made it invisible beneath clothing. 

Soon after the success of the re-designed shapewear, Marianne created an assortment of foundation pieces for special occasions that featured plunging necklines, and low cut backs. Each design was created with the same philosophy and motivation in mind. The goal of Va Bien has always been to make every woman feel special and beautiful, with each piece they create.
