Being lightweight cotton, they are ideal for those of us sitting in wheelchairs for the better part of the day. I ordered 3 pairs before leg surgery and they were perfect for that use - easy to pull up with one hand, don't slide on pull when sitting in bed or wheelchair, opaque enough to be modest around hospital staff.
