Every 13 minutes 1 woman in the U.S. will lose her life to breast cancer.

In October, we celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These 31 days are a time to honor the women who passed on with pink ribbons, listen to and learn from the survivors who never give up, and educate new generations of women to empower themselves to take charge of their breast health. In 2018, 2M+ new cases of breast cancer were diagnosed worldwide. In the U.S., 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s unacceptable!

At Freshpair, we strive to provide our customers with quality bra and panty styles that are so comfortable you’ll feel more confident, believe in yourself, and accomplish your goals. That same spirit is what breast cancer awareness is all about! And it’s wonderful brands like Wacoal that make it even easier to drive the message home.

From October 1-31, Wacoal will donate $2 dollars for each Awareness bra sold to Susan G. Komen for the cure! For over 20 years, Wacoal has partnered with Susan G. Koman and donated over 5.5M+ dollars to the cause, which helps fund research, screening and diagnostic testing, clinical trials, and so much more.

Meet the bra with a cause! Most loved for comfort, fit and support, the Wacoal Awareness collection features a pink ribbon flag on the back for breast cancer awareness and a beautiful, smooth calla lily jacquard fabric design for a fashionable touch. Each bra features cushioned comfort straps that are back adjustable. Seamless, 2-ply fabric cups, full coverage, and hidden side slings in larger cup sizes make this collection effortlessly comfortable and super supportive at any hour. Wearing these everyday bras is the perfect way to feel good and remind yourself that your breast health matters!

Wacoal's partnership with Susan G. Komen began in 1999 with the launch of the original Awareness Underwire Bra. This amazing bra is now Wacoal's #1 bestseller! The Wacoal Awareness collection continues to remind women about the support of overall breast health while offering them a supportive bra to ensure they feel powerful and confident. Now is the time to empower yourself with knowledge, be aware of the warning signs, and inspire others to do the same.

You know your body better than anyone else. Know what is normal for you and if a concern arises, see a healthcare professional for further evaluation and confirmation. Not sure what that means or are looking for more information? Below is a Breast Self-Awareness guide from Susan G. Komen. You can also call their breast care helpline at 1-877 GO KOMEN (1-877-465-6636) if you or someone you love needs more information about breast health or breast cancer.
