Machine wash garments in washing bag, using cold or warm water. Use mild soap or detergent. Avoid “All Purpose” products, which are typically more suited for outerwear. These can break down elastic and delicate yarns found in lingerie. Avoid fabric softeners for this reason. Wash light and dark colored garments separately.
Drying:
Lay your lingerie out flat or hang it on a line to dry. The heat of tumble dryers can break down delicate fibers used in embroidery and lace designs.
