Barely There is an intimate apparel company that sets itself apart through the creation of Barely There bras, panties, briefs, camis, tees, and shapewear that won’t crinkle, wrinkle, ruffle, or make lines. Barely There intimates began in 1995. The first collection was only panties. They were seamless for absolutely no panty lines and they were all so comfortable, Barely There immediately grew a following of seamless panty loyalists. The original panty collection was different from what other manufacturers on the market offered due to an innovative knitting technology, a super-soft microfiber construction and a unique flat stitch process. In 2000, Barely There added both shapewear and bras to complete its intimate apparel offering. Then in 2004, they added introduced bras and panties that were tagless for the ultimate chafe-free, all-day comfort.

Today, Barely There bras, underwear and shapewear continue to be made from smooth, stretchy fabrics with comfort bands that feel so great against your skin, you barely know they’re there. Barely There is one of the fastest-growing intimate apparel brands in America because they offer what they call “invisible comfort.” One of the things Barely There stands behind in their entire line is that people should notice you, not the panties shapewear and bra you have on. Barely There is part of Sara Lee's intimate apparel portfolio, which also includes Playtex, Wonderbra, Bali Bras and Hanes Her Way. Their advertising campaigns were photographed by Richard Avedon, who is known among fashion photographers as one of the most famous.
