Clay and his hunt for black Tommys

I come across random references to men's underwear on the Web sometimes, and today is such a day. Clay Starr, over at the Starr Report, is a young up-and-comer in Washington, D.C. And all he wants is black Tommy Hilfiger hip briefs and flag briefs. (Sorry for the lame photo, but it's the only image I could find of the black styles he's looking for.) Here at UndiesDrawer, we love a man so driven by his underwear. Lots of people don't understand that mindset, but we do.

Sadly, Clay depended on his local department store to consistently carry what he wanted. Luckily, they finally got a new batch of his favorites in. But even then -- why Tommy Hilfiger briefs? No offense if you're a Tommy fan, but their briefs fall pretty low on my list. My guess is that he chose his favorite briefs from amongst his department store's selection.

I wish Clay had let us know earlier what he was looking for. Yes, they are now discontinued, but I could have pointed him to black Tommy Hilfiger hip briefs at Freshpair, and others.

But, please, please, please, don't rely on your local department store as your sole source of men's underwear because you'll be sorely disappointed.
