Only in New York: National Underwear Day
National Underwear Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 5 this year and no other city in the country will celebrate the way New Yorkers will.
Page Six reports designers from Diesel, Natori, Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger and 2Xist will have hotties strutting in their skivvies on an open-air catwalk in Times Square. Lydia Hearst will host the runway show, with Nick Adams [of "A Chorus Line"] and dozens others walking in their underwear. A spy for Page Six said New Yorkers can expect to see 10 different runway shows.
Founded in 2003 and organized by freshpair.com, National Underwear Day has become a grand scale annual event featuring the hottest looks from the world’s most coveted intimate apparel brands.
