St. Petersburg, Florida - Did you know there is a National Underwear Day? It's Tuesday August 5th. The name itself peaked our interests, so we decided to look into it. Turns out you're not going to find any Hallmark Cards to send your friends wishing them a Happy National Underwear Day. Turns out it's a fashion show where models enjoy a day in their skivvies walking a catwalk set up in Times Square. According to their website, there is a push to make a National Underwear Day to pay hommage to undergarments.

The organizers of the show also say the models are more than just eye candy. They conduct various surveys to reveal America's real underwear preferences.

For example, married men change their underwear twice as often as single men. And another interesting fact to impress your friends, in 1991 the average bra size was a 34B. Today it's 36C.
