Change your underwear for National Underwear Day and to pack for a vacation
By: Jodie Jacobs
If you will be taking a trip soon, add new underwear to your get ready list but think beyond the "box" (er shorts). No joke.
According to Freshpair.com, about 80 percent of adult Americans don't change their underwear style and 60 percent of that group wear underwear that doesn't fit.
To recognize the 8th Annual National Underwear Day Aug. 15 and to encourage people to try new styles or at least change sizes and cuts, Freshpair will give away 5,000 underwear items from Aug. 1-14.
The company also conducted a poll that revealed, among other things, that 24 percent of American men have a lucky pair of underwear, that 34 percent of American women wear matching bras and panties and that married men change underwear twice as often as single guys. (hmm, laundry or shopping problem?)
