National Underwear Day: Photos, Freebies, Facts

Today is National Underwear Day, another of those absurd holidays whose underpinnings are best kept under cover.

If you are lucky enough to be spending National Underwear Day in New York City, keep an eye out for the Underwear Ambassadors. The prurient among us might want to catch the quickest transport to Espace where underwear models will be parading the runways wearing nothing but their underwear this National Underwear Day. New York is not the only locale hosting a National Underwear Day. Brasilia, Brazil hosted its second annual National Underwear Day on February 27 of this year. A Brazilian underwear company, Finíssimo, sent 26 models into the streets to draw attention to its intimate apparel line.
