How to Measure Sock Size
Why is sock sizing so confusing? Whoever created the sizing plan for socks must not have been good with numbers. If it were up to us, we'd make sock size correspond directly to shoe size. But since it's not up to us, here's a little help. Socks can be either sized or one-size-fits-all. Be sure to check the size chart for your socks of choice to see if you need to size yourself below.
Sized Socks
Technical socks used for sports tend to be sized, and finding the right size is important. If you're 20 miles into a marathon, the last thing you want to do is develop blisters from bunched socks. Wigwam and some Falke socks are form-fitting designs with technical engineering, including arch panels and cushioned soles, and these special features must contact your feet in the proper place to offer the intended benefit.
The chart below explains how to find your size in socks that are sized.

This chart reflects the sock sizing for most brands, but not all are sized this way. Be sure to check the sizing chart within the specific item.
One-Size-Fits-All Socks
Many sock brands offer a one-size-fits-all sizing option. One-size-fits-all socks should fit men's shoe size 8 - 12.
