This is a very nice, very comfortable strapless bra that actually works. The fabric is lacey and feminine, and there is zero itch from seams/finishing (I have that "itchy back strap" problem with almost all bras, but not with this one!). The silicone grippers hold the top of the bra in place no matter what I do, and I even did jumping jacks in it. The optional straps are very handy, but the front strap attachment spots are placed too far from the center. This makes the straps go almost into my armpits, and the top of the bra stick out. I am rather flat chested (32B flapjacks as a result of massive weight loss), so this unlined, unpadded bra does not give me any lift or support, but it does comfortably hold my girls, and stays put all day. The underwire does not bother me at all. The only negative about this bra is that it is a see-through, and the nipple outlines do show. The online pictures show the bra as opaque (I bought the black one) but, in reality, you can see the skin through the black lace. It is kind of sexy, but I do have to watch that my top is not on a sheer side. I am in my early 50s, so prefer modest coverage.

Bought this along with the NY Strapless Bra by Lunaire. This one has less coverage and less support but is still comfortable in its own right and which one I wear depends on the outfit.

I thought if I wore a size D from the store...it would be the same, but was not... obviously with online, I wear a E. the D cup was like B. So have reordered in hopes to recieve ones that fit. :) let ya know next order!

I normally stay away from strapless bras, haven't found one that gave me comfort, support and especially security--always had slipping or 'spilling.' Plannning for serious shoulder surgery, I was desperate and tried this one since I often use its strapped version. I also tried tube type bras. (yuck) The Wacoal Halo Lace has been an an absolute salvation. It is comfortable, stays in place, no matter what I do. I'm still not ready for straps but am very active and have no bra problems doing exercise, etc.
One thing: with a D cup, I'm a little lower and maybe flatter than usual but that seems a very minor trade-off; maybe a different size would work for that.

I own this bra in 2 colors (nude and black) and love it! Since I really dislike contour bras (as a 36D/DD I do not need to look bigger!), this was one of the only options I could find that was comfortable AND stayed up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the lace shows through a lot of fabrics. I would prefer that it be a stretchy solid fabric (keep the stretch though!!) not lace. And I do use petals with this bra, but much prefer using my own (DIMRS) than having them built it.

I love Wacoal bras. I have 5 of them, so I assumed that I would find the same support, quality, and fit in this strapless number. No such luck. I ordered in my normal size, and it seems to be too big (please note I ordered another of their bras at the same time that fit beautifully). Even if it fit properly, there is little to support the girls, so you get that squished looked. Not a fan.

This is a great convertible for DD because no added padding. I wish there were strap hooks nearer to the front center so that I could wear halters that tie from the center of the front of the shirt.
