I need some really warm socks for my job that work well in slightly oversized street shoes for the cold but dry days and for Muck Boots on winter days where slush, snow, and ice cover the ground. I am inside and outside all day long. I need socks that will keep my feet warm and dry in the cold and cool inside warm rooms. Another PLUS for any wives: I can wear the socks for two whole days before my wife thinks an animal has died under or in the house (u no what I mean).

After wearing these socks only 1 day they will find a spot in my drawer relegated to non-activewear. These socks are soft and comfy upon putting them on but after minimal walking they ended up filling my boot from the ankle down. I cannot comment on their warmth due to the lack of fit. I wear a size 13 shoeand used the Large size sock. The initial fit was ideal but failed to stay put on my leg and ankle. I will stick to Smartwool socks for outerwear and Wigwam for athletics.
