It feels kind of like a minimizer but it really works well. It doesn't flatten you out and it actually gives you a good shape. If they can make a smaller bra that supports as well, that would be ideal. But I love this bra also! I only have two favorite bras and this is one of them!

I originally ordered one bra to try as a sports bra. I loved it so much I started wearing it as my every day bra as well. I order them regularly now in beige and black. Best bra EVER.

I now use this bra as my daily fix. No matter what activity I do, this bra retains all of it's comfort.

I bought this bra because of the reviews. I am a 36DDD on one side and a 36E on the other. This bra works great for me. My husband planned a hiking trip for us and I needed something to keep me comfortable and dry. After the 9 hours of hiking in 70degree sunshine, I was impressed and thankful with this bra. There are some reviews about the band being tight and I found that to be somewhat true. But I prefer a tighter band for my sport bra needs. If I were to where this to work, then that would bother me.

Although I ordered the same style and size, only the nude colored bra actually fits. The black one is quite a bit smaller in both the chest strap and the cup size. Unfortunately, since I had already successfully tried on the beige bra, I threw away the packaging before I found out that the black one didn't work for me. Ugg, many dollars thrown away. Buyer beware, color does matter.

I am 60 years old. This is by far, the best supporting and comfortable bra I have ever owned. It would even work well for everyday wear, when not exercising. I am very happy with my purchase.

After 10 yrs of searching for a perfect bra for my 38-DD chest, found it! Thick straps, band and no, not all that sexy, but it REALLY does the job.
This will be the only bra I buy!

I was optimistic about this bra, with its robust underwire structure and relatively inelastic straps, but I found it somewhat oversized, and the side panels are a soft elastic mesh which greatly reduces its effectiveness for high-impact sports.

I really wanted to love this bra. It makes the bust look GREAT, but doesn't give my (breastfeeding) DDD's enough support to run on the treadmill at the gym. What it DOES do is give me 10 years back on my "perk"! I bought this as a workout bra, but will probably only wear it for weightlifting and low impact exercise. I will also be wearing it for daily use, to my surprise! The band is small- I have other Wacoals that I am always a 36DDD in, this fits like a 34! AND, more problematic, it has some sharp thread or something around the edges of the clasp area. This has been on two of them (I tried ordering the 38 DDD to see if it fit better, but then the cups were too huge.)

Always on the look out for a sports bra to fit the larger breasts. This one provides great support and confort too. Band somewhat tight so ordered 1 size up.

I am in a 36DDD after losing weight, and have always had difficulty finding bras that fit comfortably and provide enough support without looking matronly. This bra meets all criteria. I like the fact that the underwire is on the outside of the bra- makes it much more comfortable. I wear it anytime I go to fitness classes at the gym and have great freedom of movement but no embarassing bounce. The only part that is a little uncomfortable is the back of the straps where the adjustment is. Overall, I am very satisfied- worth the cost.

I wear this bra every day & I love it. It is not the best bra for low-cut clothing as it is more of a sporty type of garment but for normal everyday wear it is as close to perfect as possible. It is the most comfortable and supportive bra I have ever owned & that's saying something as I am a 36DDD. I already owned 2 & have just bought 3 more.

Great fabric but this bra is definitely not true to size! I would recommend but only if you order a larger size than usual.

This bra is comfortable, supportive for full figures, and gives me a nice shape without the squish factor. I've tried them all.

Wanting to get into exersizing and not bounce, I looked for a bra that would help. Not only did I find a fantastic bra to work out in, I also discovered an everyday bra that really refines my shape! It is comfortable!!!

I wear a 34 DDD so after a few weeks, most bras start to lose their shape and not hold me up like I need or they start to pinch and hurt me. I am a very active person so I need to be strapped in but with a nice shape. This bra gives amazing support while giving a very natural sexy shape with good lift and separation (does not give you a uniboob like alot of sports bras:)It also does a great job of keeping me cool. It really does wick moisture! Bravo Wacoal, you have done it again!

The size I purchased 36DDD feels true to size and was comfortable the first time I put it on. I also bought an Enell in 36DDD and the fit was too small. I'll be sending the Enell back and exchanging it for another Wacoal. For the first time I don't feel pressure on my shoulders from the weight of the breasts. Thank You Wacoal, Happy, Happy, Happy

This Wacoal bra gives me more support than the others I've purchased. I believe the four hook band provides much more support than the three hook since I wear a 34DDD.

This is a good sports bra, as long as you aren't looking for something sexy. It needs to be worn under a top with full coverage because the bra isn't nice looking when it pokes out of the shirt. Also, I broke one of the metal strap holders when putting it on--it just snapped. [...]

I was shown this particular bra by a saleswoman and was impressed with how well made it is. This bra stands up to the heat without becoming soaking wet. I love the wide straps because they don't slide off when the seat belt is done up. I was sick of hitching up the straps when I got out of the car. I also love the support and comfort. I'll buy this bra again when I need to replace the ones I have.

I first tried Wacoal's minimizer bra, which I thought was really great, but I thought I'd try their sports bra just for fun. That was the best thing I ever did. I loved it so much I ordered 3 more. I wear 40DDD, so I really am capable of putting any bra to the test. This bra made me look better than any other bra I've tried, and I've tried a lot. It held the girls up and made me look more youthful, and great under T shirts. Also I have to say it was the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. Since this is a sports bra I was afraid it would come up too high on my chest and show with lower cut tops, but it did not, it was perfect. I don't do sports, but I still wear this bra everyday, because of the comfort and the great way it makes me look. Really you can't go wrong with this bra, just take a chance like I did and give it a try.

A friend recommended that I try this. I am large on top and am constantly on the prowl for good sports bras for tennis and running. This is the best one I've ever had.

Wonderful support, lift, shape. This is the best bra I've ever owned. Only two concerns:
1) Show-thru, as it is a sheer fabric. However the Wacoal No Peek concealer pads that I discovered on this site work pretty well most the time to combat that (I love the concealer pads with other styles of sheer Wacoal bras as well) ; 2) Something "digs" or "pokes" a bit in back, as others have noted in their comments. This problem I haven't resolved but it is minor in light of what a fabulous bra this is otherwise. This has become my every day and "go-to" bra.

I was so excited to maybe finally find a sport bra that really supports my heavy breasts. I ordered the same size as my every day Wacoal bra. Found the band to be too large and therefore felt loose and sloppy while working out and running on the treadmill, too much bounce and I found myself continually pulling at the band.

Great support for running, but I wear it over a standard minimizer.

This is my go to bra! I forget I have it on, and that is really an accomplishment in a 40D.

Like most Wacoal bras, on me at least, this one fits wonderfully and has great support, while looking great. My only complaint is that there is some stitching at the back clasp that is very rough, and by the end of the day is a major annoyance. I'm hoping I will figure out at way to fix this (or cover the clasp somehow), but its such a great bra, I'm still wearing it despite the flaw.

Gives your breasts a great shape while also preventing almost any bounce (I'm a 34C). I've tried almost every sports bra out there and this is the only one that really keeps me from bouncing, even when running. Fantastic!

I reviewed this bra once already but thought I'd like to add more comments now that I have worn it several times. And my comments are: it is a great bra. I wish I had 7 of them! This is the bra for me. It gives a nice shape and is comfortable. I bought a couple of other bras that have foam cups but they feel like two football helmets on my chest.

After using this bra for sports I now use it for everything. I just ordered 2 more. It's the best bra ever.

Love the support ,comfort and coverage that does not change with changes in activity levels. Wide straps also comfortable. Band might be better with as little as one half inch more in length. Underwire extension midline and seamless smooth cup fabric provides flattering shape and definition under light shirt or blouses. Has improved my posture too. I will buy more of these bras.

This is a great sports bra for large-busted women. I use it to jog on the treadmill and get very little bounce (36ddd). I agree with other reviews that there is some stitching on the back band that can be irritating, but when I keep the band on the tightest fastening, this seems to be reduced/eliminated. I wish it were a tiny bit more supportive when running, but overall I love this bra! Also, the straps lay very nicely, and the bra looks great even under silky gym tops. I am a big fan of the Wacoal line, and glad they added this model.

I bought this bra for every day wear & really like it. It's kind of clunky, but it's comfortable and gives a nice shape. I like the fabric.

This is a super-nice bra. It fits and feels great and provides excellent support for my sport of choice horseback riding.

This is the best sports bra I have ever owned. I am a fairly recent Wacoal bra convert and I will not wear another brand now. This bra has more support than any other I have purchased previously. The only con is it is a little unusual looking. I had to pause when I tried it on because I thought I had it on wrong side out but I didn't. That being said my breasts stay in place while exercising and that is a big deal (DD deal actually). I really recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, supportive sports bra.

Being a large chested weekend athlete, I constantly search for a great fitting sports bra. The Sports Under wire Bra has been recommended by me to many of my girlfriends. I often see women in the locker room layering cheap, cotton sports bras - the amount they they paid could easily be invested in this great fitting, supportive bra that stands up to sweat and washing. I have large breasts (DD), and I want very supportive bras to minimize sagging as I get older. I don't want the shape of my breasts changed though, and I don't want to look like I'm wearing armour under silky blouses or T-shirts. This bra fits the bill in all regards. It is also comfy. I have 3 and will purchase more before they discontinue it like all my favorite bras in the past. Why do they do that?

This is a wonderful bra and after purchasing one, I went back for more. After you get the knack of putting it on- it is reversible and was initially confusing, I can whip it on like an old pro. I liked that the straps stayed in place, and I didn't notice any "shifting" while wearing this bra. At first I thought it went on inside out, so it was going to look like a regular shelf sports bra, but then I saw that there was individual cup support, which I liked.

I've owned Wacoal as of about 2 years ago. My lace Wacoal Bras are great, but getting a little worn. Saw this, and decided to try it. As a DD, and pre-40, I really want to look and feel lifted and supported. I tend to sag a bit...); This bra is phenomenal! I have been wearing it daily, and it is supportive, lifting, comfortable, first bra that hasn't dug ruts into my shoulders. My back and neck feel better, and I feel 5 lbs thinner because my breasts sit higher! Terrific bra. Just wish the price were more attractive and the bra were sexier looking. It's very matronly looking, but I'm a "form over fashion" girl now...HIghly recommend it for big busted or women who hang a little lower than they'd like!

bought it for a trip to Egypt. So "breathable" was very important, along with comfort.

I was so disappointed in this bra. I did not like how the straps adjusted. Plus it just didn't fit right. Every Wacoal bra I get fits perfectly... except this one. It gapped out where the cups met the side panels... it did not lay flat and smooth.
So I am returning this one...

This bra could be used for everyday and exercise as well. The only drawback is the the cups are very sheer for women with large breasts.

I use this bra mostly for working out. I love it. Very comfortable and supportive. I really like the fact that when I run I don't feel like I am flopping all over.

I wear Wacoal's minimizers, (still lamenting the 85130) so tried this.

General comments - the fit is like other Wacoals; the shoulder straps don't slide off or dig; reasonably comfortable; fairly attractive, as sports bras go.

I know this isn't recommended for high impact activity at larger cup sizes (my purchase was a 36DD) and that's very true - I can feel some wobble even walking briskly... so I couldn't recommend this as a sports bra, however it has other benefits.

Basically, this bra pushes everything up and inwards - the uplift and separation are quite remarkable for any style or make of bra, and there's certainly no monoboob effect going on! However it doesn't create cleavage or squash 'em together, either - by 'inwards' I mean that my breasts are no wider than my frame - it makes for a slimming effect viewed from the front. From the side however, you'll see your true size - sports bras generally flatten, but not this one. I

I use this for all sports, it is very comfortable and supporting. Best of all, it keeps the natural breast shape and does not flatten the wearer!

there are no seams on the inside so its very comfortable.
it also looks good on, how many sports bras can you say that about?
the only complaint i have is the cups are a bit thin so maybe running when its cold outside isn't the best idea.
