Some of the claims about this are true- it does help with posture and if you have back problems the compression definitely does help. After wearing it all day, I had less back pain. It is very snug. be sure you buy the right size. It doesn't help that they show a skinny model wearing the shirt, someone who doesn't need one anyway. If you are SLIGHTLY overweight, I suppose that it will flatten your tummy, but if you are 30-40 pounds overweight don't expect your gut to disappear with this (or any other product).
I am satisfied with the t-shirt and have already placed another order for a few more. Great product if you are a realist and not looking for an overall makeover.
I had high hopes ofr this product. I had heard great things about the brand. However, in reality, this product was impossible to get on or off, despite it being the right size. I nearly contemplated taking scissors to get it off. Needless to say, this was not the product for me.

As a foundation garment! Never leave home without it" It pulls you in where you need it most! and makes you feel good about the way you look in your clothes! There's not one thing that I would complain about, as far as doing what it is intended to accomplish, however it is expensive, but thank goodness for their infrequent sales, I always buy then.....
This is a great product for special occasions where you need to look your best. I am very pleased with the results overall. It is a little uncomfortable but not unmanageable.
Pay attention to the instructions; putting it on is a bit hard
If you are on the cusp of sizes go larger. Otherwise it will be uncomfortable and make it difficult to breathe and it will be hard to put on and take off.
Okay... I am 64 and a half years old, recently had a Lap Band installed and, unfortunately, a triple bypass, all within a month's span of time. I was 287, have lost 54 so far, and have the most enormous man-breasts, including the flab under the arms, and am developing a tummy flap.
My goal was not to look like a model -- come on, if I wanted to do that I would not have let myself go! But, the extra flab was "getting in the way". I know that when I get to my goal weight (another 75 pounds), I will probably have to have breast reduction surgery and also get rid of my stomach flap.
In the meantime, I wanted to feel a bit better when I was in public. I am married, so don't get me wrong, but my wife and all the ladies in our social group have commented about how spectacular I look. They do not know, with the exception of my wife, that I am wearing Spanx. And every one of them and some of their husbands, too, has commented about how great I am looking.

I had wanted to purchase these for a long time, so the price was helpful in my decision to buy now. I was more than pleased. I didn't feel emasculated in any way. I actually fell more confident in my presentation and overall, comfortable. These are great and I'd recommend them to anyone who has been skeptical.
Not as good as I expected. Felt loose around the shoulders, but compressed the belly area; maybe the size was too big, but chose not to size down. Can be difficult to take off.
The compression shirt did exactly what it is made to do... flatters the torso.
This was an excellent buy....when I wore them I received many comments on how good I looked- never giving up the secret!
I like this product, I had to do a little alteration, and the chest area, If this product had more slimming action and the chest area, it would be perfect, but overall I will purchase this product again.

This product is great! It smooths everything out, and gives guys with a little extra flab in the chest area to get that firm look!
These are fantastic. Comfortable and supportive, they keep things pulled in and in place. Smooths out the lumps and bumps and makes anything that you wear over it look better. There's no such thing as a miracle but this comes pretty close.
I bought this product so it would help me reduce the size of my stomach and love handles. It has worked so I can tighten my belt one notch.

I've purchased these in the tank and v neck version and they really do as they say. Give it a shot!
It is a little difficult to get on and off -however with practice I will get better!I would probably not wear it everyday and keep it for special occasions when i want to look my best. It does do what it says it will, and my shape was greatly improved by wearing this garment. It does give back support (although getting out of could throw your back out..) I was intersted in these type of garments and wondered if they work - this one does! I am not sure that it will transform a very out of shape person into Ryan Reynolds, but if you are Mr. Average and could lose a few pounds or inches -this will do the trick. I was very pleased with the purchasing ease, [...]. Would recommend if you are curious -try it!

I use this as a regular undershirt for casual nights, going out or whenever i need some help "toning" up a little. It helps your posture, minimize flabby midsection....love this product
Great under fitted dress shirts and form fitting sweaters. Wish the v neck was a little deeper. I ordered one size up, glad I did. Had a difficult time taking it off. Overall it is a great t-shirt, I already ordered another v in white and will probably get the tank next.
Great for under fitted shirts and sweaters, really firms the mid section. I ordered a large though I wear mediums, glad I did. Kind of difficult to take off and I wish the V was a little deeper. Going to get the tank next.
I am using these t-shirts under a jacket for both work and play. It is a great fit without being consrtictive. True to its shape. I wish it came in other colors.
The shirt really does pull you up and in. I think it's best effect is in the upper torso. Think it could do with a bit more tummy control. It is a bit tough to remove after a night out.
I wish the v neck was wider and cut lower so it can hide beneath the neck of casual collared or noncollared shirts.

The compression does offer a great deal of support to the abdomen and the stomach area. I tend to have muscle strain in the back area and have had a recent hernia operation...and i am also an active sportsman with tennis , hiking , outdoors activities. This shirt has given surprising support to all these activities...especially the back support. i have even slept in it for back support. It most definitely makes the body look toner. It is a little pricey for a tshirt....[$]...but then again plenty of cheap looking t shirts go for $50...all relative i guess
I wear it under my shirt, for a slim body
This compression t-shirt is way to narrow and tight at the bottom, making it very difficult to take off. Also, the v-neck is too high and is visible when wearing even just one button open on the shirt. I am much happier with the Sculptees compression t-shirts.
I wear a medium in my shirts so I bought a medium with this compression shirt. But man its tight! Slims you down and I makes my chest, abs, and waist look great. But to wear all day at work...I wish I had bought a Large...cuz I think it shrinks just a bit after a wash. Great buy. I hightly recommend this shirt to control your giggley bits.
Performed as described and helped get me into some older pants a size less than what I usually wear. Would not recommend on a humid hot day since I'd like to see the material breathe a little more.
The Spanx undershirt is hardcore. It's very tight and hold everything in. I've tried other sculpting shirt but nothing is like this shirt. It is very tight but that is how it is intended to be. It takes a little getting used to but the result are great. It really helps shirt flabby moobs.
Less expensive than similar products
This shirt is awesome! It hides imperfections and love handles well, even takes a few inches off the front. It's soft, stretchy and cool to wear, you don't get hot like other products like this do. It doesn't feel any different than a regular undershirt / t-shirt. Sizes are correct.
Getting this undershirt on was an ordeal. It is so tight it was difficult, almost impossible, to pull it down my back from my shoulders. The material is very strong and wouldn't give it up. I finally pulled it down my back. The garment certainly gives you a body, but I am very uncomfortable wearing it. The first time I couldn't wait to get it off. Maybe that's good? I'll try again.
Requires getting used to, but when you get the hang of it, you'll think of buying more. Black doesn't work for me; it's a personal taste. A shirts will work better for me because I can wear them year-round.
I was sure that when Spanx came out with their compression shirt, it would be the one to have. Afterall, that's where I first heard about this category of product, with their women's line.
Unfortunately, I am very disappointed. They feel like a tight pair of Hanes undershirts for 12+ times the price. They are loose in the chest and tight in the bottom seam. Admitedly, some might like that, but not my cup of tea. Instead, I'm sticking to Sculptees - IMO by far the best manufacturer in this segment. My Spanx were sent back.

A good looking, well constructed shirt. I bought one size larger than I actually am, and it was still slimming without being too tight. It is only meant to be worn under other clothes, but it looks very much like a regular undershirt when worn. The material feels like a nice cotton undershirt and not too much like nylon or spandex. The only negatives are the care requirements of cold water wash and low dryer heat, which is more like a delicate sweater than an undershirt. Overall, this is a winner and performs well.
Bought this product after getting my love handles liposuctioned...held up great for about 3-4 weeks of daily wear, but now has lost its compression ability...great feeling on the skin,,,kind of expensive
