I bought this product to use under a form-fitting dress, where I wanted my hips and torso to be as smooth and bulge-free as someone half my age! The product is fantastic in that it provides great support, is incredibly comfortable AND has the smartest panty system I've EVER SEEN. Instead of building in small gusset (which stretches to the max when you put on most hose), the smart engineers as Spanx created two over-lapping folds of fabric. No chance of putting a thumb through or creating a run while putting on the hose. BRILLIANT!
The only downside I experienced was in the length of the torso. I am 5'3" and have a relatively long torso for being so short. I apparently didn't read the fine print of the product name: SUPER HIGH Shaping Sheers. When they say HIGH, they mean it - with little effort, I could pull the panty above my chest! All told, it was still a fantastic product. Petites beware, however!
