I'm wearing this as a post pregnancy under garment for my belly. No visible lines through clothing make it ideal in every 'clothed' situation :-) I combine it with a waist minimizer (under spanx) to smooth out the silhouette. The only con is that you have to be careful to pull all parts of it into place before pulling the 'Higher' part of it over your ribs otherwise it bunches and doesn't make it.
It is a great purchase I am so glad that I bought it.
I had heard about spanx for along time and then finally bought some to use at a wedding this summer. They worked well at the wedding, but after the first washing they started coming apart. Won't buy again.
I wear it almost everyday - under tight jeans and tees, dresses, office skirts and blouses. It feels very comfortable to wear, yet eliminates all the undesirable bulges. Prolonged wear made my tummy feel flatter too! Can't wait to buy more!

I use it under dresses and pants, but have to add extra support to get the proper hour glass figure especially after having kids. I don't have any love handles--just a little tummy that is not so flattering when I wear a form fitting dress. I thought this would do the trick, but it seems like the painful girdles do a better trick of sucking in the gut. lol

First time I get such a model... too uncomfy for me, better to get just pants, shorts, instead of such a high model. However, looks fine but only possible to wear with a dress and not with skirt
I think that I should had gotten a smaller size, I don't feel that it gives enough support although is a panty, this is my first time getting something like this.
On the positive side it feels light and easy to wear onlike the firmer ones.
I love this product but you do have to watch that the seams in the front and back do show through thinner materials. I use my slim cognito seamless shaping bodysuit with thinner materials.
I used to be the gal who bought a gold watch for a buck and then went in the other direction. I'd seen Spanx advertised for quite some time, but never actually believed all the hype. WOW. It definitely smoothed out my bumps - being a "pear-shaped" woman, though, the legs were great, just wish the torso could have sucked me in a bit more.
Light weight, which is very important in D.C. summers. Support is good but doesn't feel strangling when I pull it up. I am short, and it doesn't go too high or too long.
the only down fall to my purchase was that i thought i ordered ones with a skirt not the one with the legs. But thats my own fault i guess for not disecting the description.

This worked wonders for me. I was honestly surprised by how it transformed my shape, especially midriff area. HOWEVER, after I wore it twice a week (to church) for 6 weeks it just completely fell apart on me! I handwashed it, did not wrong it to dry, and let it dry flat. The upper inner thigh tore like cheap pantyhose, causing runs down the thigh making it completely useless. Before that happened the back part lost its ability to stay up and kept riding down causing spillage of back fat. The tummy part that truly amazed me at first gradually lost its firming ability. It was great while it lasted, I just wished it lasted a lot longer!
I have middle age midriff...our son is getting married and I need to look as good as possible in my formal dress. I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE my Spanx under garment ! It super controls the "bowl of bread dough" I have around my middle. I also like how firm it makes me feel...there will be lot's of hugging going on at the wedding :)
This is my third pair of Spanx and I have loved their comford and smooth lines in every outfit. But this last pair has holes and runs in the fabric in just one hand washing.

I have gain weight in the last two years and is now on a exercise routine. So while I'm in the process of loosing weight, this product makes me feel and look even better which keeps me exercising regularly. I'm new at wearing support but I must say, it feels great.

To be very honest, I have an umbilical hernia. I ordered this style to help give me support so that I can put off an operation for a while. It gives great support just where I need it and I'm very comfortable wearing it. Also the price was very good.
I would recommend ordering a size larger, it was a bit tight. Also the top potion rolls down a little bit making it somewhat uncomfortable. But, if you are looking for a little extra support this will help!
I have put on some weight after a baby, but Iam reducing gradually. So instead of shelling out a fortune on dresses I decided to buy Spanx. I never believed its performance looking at it. I tried it on with a dress that highlighted my puffy tummy and enlarged hip all the time. Should I say it was magic or the advanced shape wear technology!!!...I was stunned, so was my hubby who kept telling me I have to lose some weight to get into those dresses. Iam so happy that I can reuse all of my wardrobe without hesitation.
The product is great overall as the tummy band stays in place and the fabric does not cling to my outfits. I am using this in summer and never had that sweaty issue so far. Try it out ladies, its worth the price totally.
Not a great product. I looked up the size chart and bought a size smaller than that recommended. I am 5'10 and 68 kg. Wish I had of gone the smallest size because I must admit I like much more firmer control.
I wear these with everyhthing. This is by far the best shapewear. I have tried other less expensive brands and they can not compare. I always come back to Spanx. I don't even bother with the other brands.

Amazing product! Just be careful when you put them on, as the stitching that holds the leg band in can rip easily if you pull the wrong way. It's happened when I'm in too much of a rush!

Recently I purchased a clingy, jersey dress for a friends' wedding. I was afraid of panty lines showing so I ordered the Spanx undergarment. I was afraid that it would be tight on my legs or might slip down below my dress as I was dancing but neither happened. The product was better than I expected! I would highly recommend this and any other product that would suit your particular need.
I got this product in size C which was supposed to be the correct one for my height (5'1") and weight (157 lbs.) and I that could not even fit someone weighing 100 lbs. I spent [$] for something completely useless and worst of all, it is not returnable

This was a good product. It made me feel confident about wearing my little black dress. Only wish I would have gotton the one without the leg part so it didn't pull up my dress. Would work great under a longer dress not short.
The only thing I have bad to say is that it's not great when having a romantic night with the boyfriend due to the fact that they aren't the sexiest panties.

This product is great, it makes me look slimmer under clothes. It is comfortable to wear. My only two negatives are that the top band slips down, especially in the back. This is not a big enough problem for me to not wear them though. I also was dissapointed in the big seam that runs down the front and back, it shows through when worn under clingy fabrics.
I first bought a pair of these5 years ago. They lasted wonderfully. (I'm not even a hand washer!) I wear them anytime I need a lift... in confidence and in the rear!!

I got the higher Power to wear under dresses. It doesn't really make you smaller, fat is fat, it's not going anywhere. But it Does help smooth things out and hold in your tummy. I liked that I didn't have any underwear lines showing through clingy fabrics and I felt like I was looking the best I could. I tried it under jeans and they were easier to get on. I would recommend spanx and will probably buy more someday.

I needed something to smooth out my silhouette after having a baby 3 months ago my tummy needed some help cause none of my clothes fit the same. I had a pair of pants that I bulged a little on the sides, I put on my Spanx and they looked great! I can dress with more confidence with my Spanx! I had heard so many good things from other people, but now I see it for myself!
Wonderful product. Very helpful in resolving those lumps and curves under your garments. The product is very durable and does not snag or tear when putting on over and over.
I've gotten a bit older :) and lost back support from all those years sitting at a desk. This product although a bit tight at first provides the control of strong muscles. Yes, at first it appears tight but wear it a couple of times and you realize how comfortable and strong you body can feel again and should. No need to give that extra suck in the tummy if you wish to impression for a couple of minute how nice your outfit is on you -- it is already looking great all the time you are wearing your spanx. Just get pask the first two time in wearing it because it does hold you in but its just the newness of having your body hugged it all the right places. It then become so part of you you feel naked without it. It's so great to have the tightness back in my body and my lower back now has the support it needs so I am comfortable again.
I like the Spanx Hosiery! I got in to my dresses with a little wigle room. The only bad thing about them after the 3rd time I use them it started to come a part in the legs I will have to fix it.
I did not like my pair. They ride up in the back and cause another bump. Also, FYI you can not return them!!!---after opening the package. I thought that was strange. How can you see them if you don't open the package??? Anyway, I did not see any less bumps nor any good coverage. Perhaps just added another bump between your bra straps in the back and your body. Not happy.

I originally bought this product to wear under my dress at my daughter's wedding. It was great, felt so comfortable, didn't roll down or shift in any way. I like the way it makes me feel. I don't worry so much about the tummy bulge because it smooths it out so nicely. I know wear it under my pants & skirts at work or even under casual clothes. I bought it in December and it is still holding up nicely.
I use this product every day I work--as a nurse. I like how it holds me in, as I'm about 30 lbs overweight !!
This shaper is one of the first I've tried, and I was hoping to be able to wear it when I wear jeans and things, but it just gets too hot! The material is obviously stretchy of some kind, not natural, but I didn't expect 100% cotton or anything. It's just the nature of the beast. I live in FL so I'll probably only wear this when it really matters, because otherwise I'll be roasting.

Make sure you find the Spanx size chart. It will help make sure you order the correct size. This product runs true to size, largely because there is no height issue. The pantyhose are not as forgiving. Order the next size larger if you are taller than 5'7" or so. Nothing works miracles, but this product gives a good amount of support without being painful. I wish I had known about the maternity line when I was pregnant!
Does a really great job of sucking in the tummy.
I generally don't wear dresses, but I had a wedding to attend and I had the perfect dress. Unfortunately, the dress also "had me"! I just needed some smoothing and the Spanx helped everything look incredible. It was the Bride's day, but I enjoyed the compliments on my dress too!

He it was great the 1st week i wore until i started washing it all the time is started wearing out quick, it was good only about for one month it was too long on the and it would roll down under my breast that part was not comfortable at all, its okay but way over priced for the the wear you get out of it.
I can now say I understand why the celebrities love spanx. It is the best shaping undergarments I have ever tried. It fits well, is not uncomfortable, and does wonders for your appearance. It was money well spent. My only issues are that is doesn't seem like it is going to last a long time. It already has gotten runs in it and I have only worn it a few times. Also, I skip wearing it with jeans. It smooshes my booty as well as my tummy so I look flat on both sides.
The SPANX provive wonderful mid section support and I recommend wearing it under dresses, it smoothes everything out. 8-)
My only problem with this product was that it was way too big. After reading the comments left by others about how small they found it, I made sure to order according to weight. Consequently there is little or no change in how my clothing looks on me while wearing the garment. I will definitely order again, but a smaller size.

It seemed too big & not enough control. You saw a seam thru the jeans on the thighs. Also, the high band rolled down. I don't believe, I'll be buying this product again. Not happy.

I bought this product to help smooth out some unsightly bulges in my midsection and my hips. It took me a couple of times to get it to fit the way I liked it but I found it worked the way I wanted it.

I wear my spanx all the time it is great for adding shape to those already shapely curves. It makes me feel good about myself. The only thing that I don't like is that it is like pantyhose so you have to be careful with them or they will snag other than that I can not live without them.
Spanx is sexy shapewear. My husband loves my new butt. I look great and feel great. And man can I wiggle. I use this product all the time.
The elastic around the top that goes under the bra bra, slips down. The waist doesn't "tuck in" as I would hope. I am a size 3 with a little buldge around the middle (age 52) I thought it would do a bit more sculpting than it does.
Would not purchase again.

I am very dissatisfied with this product. I didn't expect to look 20 pounds thinner, but I did expect it to stay up and take away the unsightly skin. It rolls down in the midrif to my waist and is very uncomfortable.
I bought the product for my wedding but liked the way it made me look that I have worn it to work and to social functions as well. I would like to see one that covers the upper leg as well so it doesn't look like the leg bulges where the spanx ends.
I was so very disappointed in these Spanx products as they fell apart after just a few washings, not once but twice. The waistband fell apart and the garment was worthless after that happened. I only wear these on special occasions so it wasn't like I abused them. After the second "hand" washing, I didn't even put them in the washer, they fell apart. I thought it was a fluke but when I received the second pair and the same thing happened I was so over this product. There are plenty of other similar garments on the market so I went to another brand. I was very disappointed in this product especially with all the hype over them.
I loved them at first, but then one of the legs started to unravel and it now rides up. I don't wear them anymore.
I used this for my wedding in October. I thought that they were going to be uncomfortable like a girdle, but they were awesome. They did not roll down because they came right under the bust area. They also gave quite a bit of support without feeling binding. I have used this since my wedding to help under my dresses because of the support they provide. Also, if you need to combat a belly bulge...this is the ticket!! Well worth the money!!
I wore this product underneath my wedding dress on my wedding day. It was perfect because it held everything in but without constricting my breathing. :) It's not necessarily the sexiest undergarment but I was more worried about control and keeping my thighs from rubbing together!! Going to the bathroom was relatively easy because there is a built-in opening which made it pretty easy.
This product, out of all the spanx products ive tried, is truly the best. It seems tighter, which holds everything in. The other styles just dont seem to do that, so why wear them? The only down side, is that there is a seam right down the center line of the body, so if its worn under a tighter and smoother type dress, sometimes the seam is visible. But all in all, this is the best support of all the spanx products ive tried. Does the job its hired for....
Spanx is a fantastic product
My boy friend had become a police officer and I needed something for the ceremony to make me look hot! I bought a pair of the higher control spanx for about [$]. It did exsacly what I wanted, it shaved off about 10lbs in my tummy and thigh area and made me feels amazing. The only drawback was that I couldn't breathe as comfortably as normal. But it was great for pictures and I started using them and work and home :-) the breathing issue got better after a few wears. Also great for keeping good posture.
I am pleased with the product. Great except in really hot weather, when it is a bit too warm.
This style spanx is perfect for dresses and skirts - but will also go with jeans and pants - the split crotch is very handy and is not as strange as I thought it would be....and the high waist slims well without any roll down or muffin lines - I'm very pleased with these and will most likely purchase another pair in a different color! Highly recommended.

love how the legs are comfortalbe and light, but the wist didnt stay up an in place, and it is a size small, so i didnt order the wrong size, maybe a little more rubber on the trim on the waist would help.
This product is great for the behind area, but does not pull in the lower abdomen/hips area enough.

At home, I don't care who sees my post menopausal, jelly belly, but after watching myself at a birthday party video, I was horrified to see how my flabby belly distracted from my outfit. This style of spanks is designed for us gals who want to reign in that belly. The high waist is comfortable and the whole thing pulls you in in the abdomen and midsection without the painful elastic around the waist or creating the dreaded "multiple pooch" effect. If your belly is your worst feature, you have to try THIS STYLE of Spanx.
Still figuring out how to go to the bathroom, feels like I'm missing a man's part. Can't comprehend how to go to the bathroom, if you wear underwear...if you don't wear underwear, you're exposed. Doubt if I ever wear this product..Money down the drain.
Don't recommend for people with bad backs, about kills you to get them on...I personally put my back out again trying them on...wears you out.
i had great expectations of this product. the seam that runs down the middle was highly visible through a clingy dress i wanted to wear the product under. uncool.

Very comfortable but I found it a little too long in the body and legs so I decided to try the hi-rise panty. The hi-rise panty fits better, I'm only 5'2". Good control without feeling like a girdle.
My only negative comment is that they are quite difficult to get into. Possibly I have bought a size too small.
The product works well, but it was nearly impossible for me to get it over my hips. I got the proper size, but it was a circus act every time I got in and out. I looked good once I got in them, though.
I am in a wheelchair, so this helps with my trouble areas, hips, belly. Although I exercise and try to stay as fit as I can, Spanx products has helped me feel more confident, about myself, when in groups of other company. I am not as shy, when I feel good about the way I look,

It is very good and I have told friends about it. But I wore nylons to the hip and that didn't work. my daughter is getting married in May and I don't know what tip of nylon to wear. I have never put on such things because I am a wowen of size 18 and I wear jeans all the time so this is very different for me.
I wore my Spanx under a clingy dress that allows no forgiveness from any figure flaws. My Spanx held everything in; nice and smooth all night long. When I really want to look my best, the first thing I grab are Spanx. They've never let me down.
This shapewear is great. The height is not too high for me (maybe because I'm quite tall). I haven't really worn it long enough to see if it's durable though. But, overall, I like it.

OK... when you first get the item you're going to think "are you kidding me??". It appears extremely small but don't let that scare you, it actually goes on easier than you would think. Don't expect miracles but it will smooth you out for sure!! Highly recommend this item!!
I wear spanx almost every day, and this pair I really love for the overall coverage and support. They stay in place, don't creep, and suck in my gut like magic. The little "pee hole" for going to the bathroom is kind of weird to get used to, but it's genius.

I bought a dress for my daughters wedding a year before the date. Bad Idea!!! I gained two sizes and was about to panic until I bought this spanx. The dress now looks better than ever!! It is still a little tight but there is not a roll to be seen and I feel good in it.
I ordered the spanx tummy cotrol (high power) for a wedding and I was delightfully pleased with the smoothness and the complete comfort. I loved that I forgot that I was wearing it!!!![...] I will order this product and others in the future.

When you put this on it is SNUG but that is the point! Plan on taking some time to get it on completely. But once on, they are comfortable under clothing and made it possible for me to wear NORMAL clothes (abdominal surgery scars, lumps and bumps).

Heard about SPANX through Cosmopolitan mag, We were going to a Mardi Gras Ball in a dress that I haven't squeezed into in 3 yrs. Said what the hell...so glad I did...love the Spanx, so so very comfortable, you don't feel like a sausage,all squeezed into a casing. Very flexiable, no pinching anywhere, like the ad says...dance approved!!!!!
After my tummy tuck, my Beverly Hills surgeon asked me to buy two pairs of these (to wear one of top of the other) to use like a compression garment. He said they would help prevent major swelling and help shape my body. I did and they feel great. I'm only 2 weeks post surgery but my swelling is minimal and they're still keeping my tummy flat.
A bit of a secret...not usually discussed...these pair have an opening between the legs that fold closed when you stand and opens when you sit so you're able to use the bathroom without taking everything off. (obviously, not number 2) It was helpful in week 2, after surgery, when I really didn't want to be pulling things up and down over the healing incisions.
Things that aren't so great? Well, I think I'd want a tad more control in the center tummy, a little tighter like control top panty hose. But these spanx leave more beathing room and are more comfortable than panty hose.

I was leary about purchasing this item, but I am glad I did. I have the "after twins" baby buldge that I hate and can not seem to get rid of. I put my SpanX on as soon as I opened the package, and I LOVE IT! I plan to buy another and I told ALL my girlfriends about the slimming quality and great feel. After the birth of my second child I have been unable to loose the last 15 pounds... and i have a tough time wearing "girlie" shirts (usually just wear tee shirts) because of the bulge. But with the shapewear it slims it all in and I will wear girlie clothes while wearing it!!
I work hard to get rid of the tummy bulge, but Spanx hides it well since I haven't yet succeeded. It's great that the maker thought of the "nature calls" problem. The only downside is that it tends to roll down from the top and has to be re-adjusted now and again.
I couldn't wait to get my Spanx. When it came and I put it on, I initially thought maybe I should have gotten a larger size. I was wrong! It fit perfectly once I got it over my big old butte. I was all sucked in, way less tummy and back fat showing. I felt svelte. My husband, who always tells me honestly how I look, was very complimentary. I have three children, the last two are 3 year old twins and when I say I needed Spanx, I needed Spanx! I have had a tummy tuck, but this product finished what the tuck didn't take care of. This is my second time to buy this product and I really love it.
I bought this because it was recommended by a friend. I love the way I look when I get it on but it is getting it over my hops that is the problem. I am going to try some powder and see if that helps slip it over the problem are.
It felt uncomfortable at first but after a while I forgot I was wearing it and it really gave me nice lines under my dress.

I wear this under a dress that is form fitting. I would not wear under a suit because going to the ladies room will take a complete undressing. I would tell a friend about this along with pros and cons.
The band-less legs are a smart design, but they could be a little less binding. I purchased this product primarily for the added support through the mid-section; but now I feel if I wear a form-fitting dress, I should also wear hose to avoid "knee lines" where the Spanx stop. Sure helps out at the waist line though!
You need to buy this!!!! I wore it for a wedding under a dress that was made of a fairly clingy material,and it smoothed all the places I needed it to. It stayed up all day and was very comfortable. I bless the inventor. Finally I've found something that makes me feel confident.

I mostly wear this product to church to flatten out my tummy. It really works and I don't feel like people are staring at my poochy belly. 3 children makes it hard to get rid of despite the amount of exercise for me anyway. I love it. I havent had mother nature call while wearing it yet, but it take some time to get on and I would imagine it would be easier to just pull it down and less messy that trying to use the gussets. ;o)
I wear this every day to work for a smooth appearance under all my clothes but I hate the seam up the front, as you can see "the bump" under my tops and sweaters. I wish the seam were on the side, not the front, then it would be perfect!
I have long nails so getting it on would be impossible if it wasn't tough enough to stand up to that. Nails didn't cut through and I got it on, even though it wasn't offered in a larger size which I would have preferred this went on and seemed to stay in place well for the little time I had it on. Cool and comfy too.

Everyday, office use. This product makes you look smooth and sleek. The only negative is after long use the stitching oh the legs seem to come apart. Otherwise I still love this product and will keep buying this product.

My size fell in the gray area and I ordered up a size as suggested, but shouldn't have. I probably could have used a smaller size, but didn't have time to exchange them. Wore them for a wedding under a form fitting dress and you could see the front seam (slightly) which I'm guessing might not have been visible with the smaller size. They did smooth things out and felt great.

great for smoothing out your tummy/luv handles..but pull your bra over the top back of it so it will stay in place. Also be aware this vesion of spanx is like a double layer stocking, so be careful not to snag it on anything....I accidentally snagged mine on a small hook on my dress, and it immediately starting creating holes...Overall this is a great slimmer, if yo jou jst need to smooth it out..if you're trying to make your waist smaller, get a waist cincher..
I bought these to wear under a dress. They smooth out everything I didn't like about how my lower half looked! I've worn them several times, and have gotten compliments every time I wear them! I was right on the line between two sizes, so I went with the smaller size. They fit, but sometimes when I am sitting down, they cut into my abdomen.

I bought these because I have several weddings to attend this summer and will be seeing friends I haven't seen in a long time. For the price of a month's gym membership, I can get the same results just by slipping on these little miracle workers! I call them the "mommy pouch eraser." They really do smooth everything out and tuck everything in...and they are comfortable! They are a little warm once you put on your other clothes, but it's totally worth it. I love them!!

I wear this product everyday, under every type of clothing and it works great! I find that it does help to control and hide my tummy and thigh bulges and I will buy it again. I have washed it numerous times and it still looks and preforms as good as the day I bought it.
The Sapnx Higher power shorts are super comfortable and perfect for wearing under form fitiing t-shirts or sweaters. They don't roll down went you sit like some old fashioned girdles and the elastic band is very comfortable and doesn't leave those annoying marks on your skin.
I use this mostly for dressing up, wearing under sundresses, or formal bridesmaids dresses. It just keeps things from looking "lumpy" Things really fit better with spanx under them.
Unlike other products I've tried, this one does not droop or fall down, it really stays in place.

The product is true to its name, no underpants lines. But I notice when you sit the top section rolls down; it does not stay at all.
I found that the spanx really smooth my shape when wearing dresses.
I liked it because it did the trick of slimming me down, the only complaint i had was that it has a big seam in the middle of it and it is very visible through slimmer clothing.
The product is comfortable but does not offer the support that I need for the midriff.

I wore this product under a dress that I bought for my niece's wedding in July in New England. Although it was a very hot and humid day, the Spanx breathed and I was none the hotter wearing them! They gave me the smoother form I was looking for. I would suggest that if you are on the line between two sizes, select the smaller size. I ordered both the smaller and larger size and the smaller size was fine.

I fell between sizes and the suggestion on the product was to go with the larger size. I wish I hadn't. I bought the undergarment to wear with my wedding dress and didn't have time to re-order the smaller size. Soooo...the claim that I would look like I had lost 10 lbs isn't so true...more like 5!! But I do love the way it smooths out my love handles and firms my tummy.

I bought this product for my wedding and for all of my brides maids. Everyone loved them and now i have three pairs they are really comfortable.
This ease in going to the bathroom was great. I wore a regular pair of nylons, not panty hose or thigh highs, but nylons without a garter. I just tucked them in under the legs and it held them up just fine all day. Very comfortable.
I found this Spanx product to be very comfortable to wear. It did have a tendancy to roll down from the top, but otherwise, I thought it did what it was supposed to do.

I ordered this item specifically for a wedding dress and was so pleased that I wear it with all different kinds of attire not just dress up.
I have to admit I am skeptical by nature, so I purchased Spanx thinking it might not live up to its billing, but I was wrong! I purchased Spanx to wear to 2 summer weddings under a new dress, but after seeing its slimming effects, I pulled out an old dress that had not been comfortable at all and the effect was dramatic--I could wear the old dress and it looked great! I was also expecting it to cause me to be overly hot but even on the hottest day so far this season, I was not! Neither the leg band not the waist band rolled up, which is often a problem I have with pantyhose. Over all I could not be more pleased.

I think the product made some areas especially around my lower back seem bigger. It did flatten my stomach a little, but it felt bulky under my clothing. I thought it made my waist line look thicker. I think it could work for others, just not for me.
You cant wear this under tight cloths and thats why i bought it... The leg rides up whn i pull up my pants or capris, but if you wear a dress i guess its ok... but it does hold in my stomach which is great!

I love the look of my body when I have this product on. It makes my clothes look so much better. There are no wires, nothing felt to tight and it gave amazing tummy control. When removing from package I thought they would be very uncomfortable and binding. To my surprise it was just the opposite. The comfort was amazing!! My Spanx has actually given me shape and form. I can wear a smaller dress size. This product does not "roll" down and does it's job for all day wear.
I thought that this would be a product for special occasions however I have found that I enjoy the look and feeling of this so much so that I wear it everyday. I also find that when I wear it I don't tend to eat as much. Not sure if this product reminds you of why your wearing it when you eat or if it actually holds you in so well that you can't over eat. Either way it works!

I had no problem getting the high waisted spanx on and they stayed in place through the wedding and reception. I felt slim and comfortable in the spanx and will use them again, even for every day occasions. I love them.
This is a really good product. My only negative comment about it relates to the high waiste of the garment. It tends to slip down and "roll" which may be unavoidable but it can be unsightly and uncomfortable.
Very comfortable, but did not hold me in the stomach area as I wanted. Love the no lines showing as some girdles tend to do. Is there a petite size? As it felt too large between hip area to the shoulder blades. No way did I feel two sizes smaller as I heard some comments made before buying this product.

I truly love this product. I use it primarily if I am wearing fairly tight fitting garments. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I wash by hand or on a delicate cycle and hang to drip dry. The fact that the top of the garment does not roll down but stays in place is the best of all. The open inserts in the crotch make it even more desirable. Highly recommend this product!
First time tried to use, as I was pulling on from one side then the other inching up, it ripped on right side top of thigh. I finished slowly but removed when I felt to confined and the shape felt thicker by pulling in the hip skin to the waist skin.
Used SPANX to go under my wedding dress. Very good smoothing effect as the dress was form fitting around the midsection. Unless you have six pack abs (if you do, you wouldn't bother with these anyways) these are perfect for those extra little bulges that women have. I was pleasanlty surprised that they didn't roll at all in the 6 hours I wore them. Very true to size!

I use this product on Church days and days I work. It fits firmly and holds in what you want it to. It can get a bit uncomfortable if worn longer than four hours or so and it leaves lines where it has been in place. Love that you can use the restroom without inconvenience!!
The product holds in what its supposed to hold in HOWEVER it is super uncomfortable at the top. The top portion folds down on me all the time and it digs into my skin making it super uncomfortable. The fact that it folds over at the top and doesnt sit properly makes it look like i have a huge bulge under the bust line when its simply the product bunching!
This is a great product but buy a larger size. It fit before it was washed but once washed on gentle cycle in cold water and hung to dry it shrunk so much it barely got on. Spent a lot of money for 2 of these for a wedding and now we can't wear them.

I wore the high waisted spanx under a very fitted bridesmaid dress. They were comfortable and really sucked everything in for a smooth look, except for the thick seam that runs up the stomach which is visabe under really fitted garmets. The open crotch was helpful otherwise I would have had to take the dress off to pull them up and down every time I used the bathroom. I did not have any problem with them rolling down once I tucked them under my bra. I agree if you are on the line with sizing order the larger size

I am a size 4 but was looking for tummy control and back fat control. The spanx fit great in all areas except for the top. The top part kept sliding down and it was a little annoying having to adjust it back up. If the elastic at the top was a little tighter I would be a little happier. Overall the product is a good product and I would recommend it to most people. If you are under 112 lbs. I would watch out for the sliding top piece.
I am in my mid 60's and have just lost a lot of weight. This wonderful product has made me feel like a million dollars. I did all the work and it helps put the loose skin where it belongs, hidden. It is great support for my tummy and my back. There is nothing but great things to say about this product!
Spanx comes in sizes but not necessarily for short or long waisted people. I ordered one pair and they were too small so I gave them away. My second pair fit around but come up too far so I have to tuck them under my bra. I would wear them more often if I could find a pair just just fit.

They are hard to get on and even painful, but once they are on it's like wearing nothing! Very comfortable. I'd recommend them to anyone.
I thought the product would hold up better than it has. After the 4th time I wore it it started tearing. I got the correct size, so that was not a issue of trying to squeeze too much into too little. I got the Spanx to hold my tummy in because I had 2 c-sections and I'm flabby there and wanted to look smooth and it does do that.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the upper back of the spanx's, has a tendancy to roll down and not stay in place. Othewise I love them, they make you look a size smaller (or should I say, feel smaller). I love the clean line and the neatness.
the best thing about this product is it makes me feel like my old self after having a baby. the only problem is that it sometimes slid down in my waist line. i also didn't care for the croch hole
This product works better than I had expected. It makes me look great in the bridesmaid dress that I will be wearing this summer. It covers the flaws of those problem areas. [...]

This product is so comfortable but yet gives you great support all over. The leg band never pinches or rolls up. It is so soft you never even know you have it on. I wear it with the side shaper bra. [...] Very Classy

I use it for special occasions like New Years and other big nights. I could fit into a pair of pants smoothly that I wouldn't have been able to without the product. So far I haven't found anything I dislike about it, although I do worry about snagging it with my fingernails.
I love the slimming effect this product supplies to the slightly over-weight rolls around the middle. It makes wearing a shirt with some spandex tolerable to look at. It feels good to feel firmer. It's been great in the cooler weather, not sure yet about summer. My only problem was reaching the band in the back high enough to get it over my roll and under my bra. Most of the time I could do it, once I got my husband to help. I received alot of complements on losing weight this past weekend after not seeing friends for 3 months. It was mostly from this product! Yeah!

I have always been selfconscience of my muffin top in pants and my spanx turned that around. Now I can dress in any kind of pant and top and have a nice smooth line between my waist and hips.

The higher power spanx is basically a good product. for some reason it does not stay up where it should and especially on the back. I need to wear more often to get used to it.
Bought for daughter's wedding. Stayed up over my stomach, did not roll down as the regular spanx does on me. Would recommend for stomach and back control.

I use the Product on most days, my friends have also noticed a change in my appearance and confidence and are now getting me to order the Spanx Products for them. I go to the Gym all the time but as I have had three children there are those extra bits that you just can't get rid off. Your Product is a " Lifesaver". This product does an excellent job of covering up my bulging tummy. My suits look sharp when Spanx is the foundation.

Spanx are comfortable, go under everything and make all outfits look better.
I love that these hide all lines and rolls! I don't like that the seam on the one leg ripped out after a couple months. I also wished that the opening in the crotch snapped shut, as sometimes it is more open that I would like. Overall it does its job of sucking in areas and making them seamless. Just wish it was a little more durable.
Great to smooth out everything between your bra and your knees! V. tight when first on but then relaxes over time. Really stretches out after wearing -- can't wear twice -- need to wash and shrink back to size! I'm thinking about getting another one in nude color!
I wear my Spanx at least three days a week to work. I'm an apple body type, so the fact that it goes up to my bra line is a huge plus. It helps me feel comfortable and confident. I gave it four stars instead of five because of the crotch area! You need to keep the Spanx clean for this area (it gets warm down there and sometimes it's not pretty on a hot day!) and that can sometimes lead to them breaking down faster. Also, the crotch area sometimes doesn't quite stay in place.
Otherwise, I love my Spanx! They're a lifesaver.

Totally rids you of muffin top. Living in the south, the only downside is that when the weather gets warm you get rather warm wearing this. Comfort level great, can wear all day. A plus to this garment, if you have back trouble great support!
I just had a baby and the spanx hold in that extra tummy skin! But I feel I'm pulling them up frequently after I've been sitting.
Love the Spanx products, every one. They smooth out all those bumps, bulges and wrinkles and make you look like you have a new body. Someone told me it looked like I had lost 30 pounds! What's not to love about that?
