I normally love this product. I live in Canada and walk to work; last winter I bought three pairs of these tights and alternated them throughout the week. Each pair was worn at least once a week, usually more, and they lasted from September through March before they really started to run or tear. Even after that, they were still intact, and could be used as a base layer (for warmth and shaping) under trousers.
Unfortunately I'm wondering if there's either been a decline in quality, or if I just got some from a bad batch. I ordered two pairs in September of this year, and each pair has already worn quite a lot - less elasticity, and each pair had an almost identical hole/run in the back right thigh after two wearings/one wash. Because of the price I've been trying to make them last, but am already thinking that I need to replace them.
From six months of life last fall/winter, to less than six weeks this year? I can only hope that these are just from a bad batch/bad luck. Before, I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend these tights to anyone: they've always been comfortable, warm, with great opacity and shaping, and sturdy, but the two pairs I recently bought have been a big disappointment, especially for the price.

These tights are good, and being high waisted they do not roll down or give you muffin tops. I feel that tummy control is inadequate compared to other spanx products and they are not truly opaque. Overall, much better than spanx tights that are not high waisted.

Way more comfortable than the cheaper knock offs and much easier to get on and off! Also, the only ones I could fine with opaque black tights attached, so they will get lots of use.

I love spanx..but..I bought these because the regular tight-end tight were no longer available in black. At 4'11" the waist comes up too high and rolls down when I move. I'm hoping the regular tight-end tights become available again. The pair I got last year and wear once a week have yet to sprout a run..great durability and a great fit.
