I have been searching for a comfortable bra with wide straps that looks good under clothes. This is it. I take a double D and always find the flimsy bras may look good but don't support well or give a good shape. The 18 hour bra is not a sexy choice but it has so many other advantages I can overlook this.

This was a big surprise. I wish it had come in a 32D when I was wearing that a few months ago!!. This bra is NOT a minimizer, so it is very stylish with many of the current styles. Comfortable, stays in place. Wide straps & wings add to the comfort. A great bra at a reasonable price.
Though I purchased another bra of same brand same size this one was too small around, had to add extender. Still good for every day wear, comfortable, good for work.
The only thing I have good to say about it is that it is exactly what appears on the package. This is a very uncomfortable bra, the straps left scratches on my shoulder blades from rubbing up against them, the cups are way too big, I ordered the normal size I wear but this did not measure up at all! I thought it was going to be a prettier bra but it wasn't. Sorry Hanes, you didn't meet my expectations on this.

I bought this bra for my mother who has trouble getting out to shop. I took her favorite bra and bought one just like it. She got the perfect bra without ever leaving home.
This bra is comfortable and provides excellent support. That's not an easy combo to find in larger cup sizes. I really recommend it.

This is the most comfortable bra I own.
The plus is the fabric won't stretch out and will give long-lasting support. However, the fabric is itchy and not absorbent.

This bra is so comfortable - I bought it in many different colors - the straps don't dig in and the cups are a perfect fit - and it's pretty too! The back is nice and wide with 4 hooks for good support.

Because I want good support and comfort I have to sacrifice a bit in the fit as the one bra that offers that does not come in a bigger cup size in my size.
The cups are too big and pointy and show under your clothes - I had 3 people try them on and all said the same thing

Playtex makes some of the best bras for women who want a great bra to keep you in place. I wear a DD and that is sometimes hard on the shoulders. This bra has great fit and the straps are comfortable without cutting into your shoulder. I have tried others, but keep coming back to what works. I do wear, for time to time, a pretty and laced bra. Most of my time is spent wearing this playtex.

I use this bra every day. I have large breasts and find that I can wear this bra all the time with any kind of outer clothing and it looks good and supports me completely.
This bra is very comforatble and yet has great support. Has a breathable mesh around the cup that is helpful for those "hotflashes".
These are great for me. I wear DD on a small bone frame and the fit is excellent. It is difficult to find 34 DD in most other brands. The comfort straps on this model cover more area front to back than on other models in this same brand. That's important to me since I need to protect my bones, not just prevent digging into flesh up there. Actually, if a bra fits correctly, you get your lift support from the band and cups, not a hang support from the shoulders. These fit great.

This bra has lots of support, but the straps don't fit right, and there is a very obvious seam running right through the middle of the cup, which give a pointy effect under a shirt. I'm going to be returning this product.
This bra was just too big. It looked awful under my clothes and was uncomfortable. I don't think a smaller size would have helped as I didn't like the shape of the cups.
The name Playtex has been associated with the large busted woman for many years. For this blessed or cursed cross dresser with extra breast tissue, this bra has been a blessing. I wear bras on a daily basis and have found Playtex to be great. Let me add the wonderful array of colors now available for all to wear, even is not visible to the public, gives us all the feeling of being sexy, if we so choose. Work in a call centre so am sitting most of the day and I always look for underwear that is comfortable to wear for long periods and will wash and wear quickly. Have only just started wearing wire free and its far more comfortable with great support than wearing wires all day. [...]

You can NEVER go wrong with a Playtex bra. I will occasionally buy a knock-off brand, but I ALWAYS come back to Playtex. Being a full-figured gal, the thing I enjoy the most with my Playtex bra are the straps. Not only are they full and soft, they also stay on my shoulders- - where they belong! There's nothing worse than to be out somewhere, and your bra straps are hanging off your shoulders. . . creeping near your elbows!
I still haven't been able to find the bra that lifts me, minimizes me, and doesn't make my breasts look like round melons.
It is very comfortable and supportive.

The transaction with Fresh Pair was great from start to finish. I chose this bra because it was the most similar to one I recently purchased in-store, and it was the right color. My only gripe is that it made my bust "pointy" and I prefer a more rounded, but shapely fit.

I previously had to purchase 42 DDD, which the band size was a little large to get the right cup size. I recently noticed that Playtex now has "G" cups available and orded a 40G, the fit is perfect. Great Support for all day, no back pain, and great looks. I also love the padded "confort straps. My husband commented how great I look with this bra.

Comfort straps are hard to hide for most of my summer wear, which I wear all year long. Band irritates my skin and I have to add my own t-shirt material as a comfort band to keep from getting a rash. Other than that, it fits and is clean. Could be more comfortable based on my quirks.
oK, well... it actually IS your mother's bra. But it feels supportive and smooth inside, and gives that retro pin-up/ jessica rabbit profile. It's so ugly and old-lady looking, I won't undress in front of my husband, but he loves the look under clothes. Doesn't work with smooth t-shirts for that I use the Satin Tracings Minimizer Bra 3562 by Bali.
I'm a 34DD, and in this Playtex bra I order a 32, because they last so long I end up stretching them out a little.

I have these bras delivered to me in France because I could no longer find them in the UK. I was so pleased to know that they were still available through the internet. I've been buying this bra for almost ten years. It always works best for me as a everyday bra.
The bras are a little snug around the bottom band but new bras usually are. They are really comfortable & my husband,who bought them for me under this account, made a good choice.
I couldn't find my size in the department store (The 18 Hour Bra)so I was thrilled that they have it here [...]. My size(44DD) needs good support but I can't wear wire cups because they cut into my flesh. Finding a bra to support me as well as feel comfortable is difficult.This bra is just right. Also, the straps on this are not the stretchy kind so they give you full support(No bouncing) and the gel padded shoulders are so nice.(Stays put... no falling off shoulders) It is pretty as well.

Even though I measured myself to try to get the best fit, this bra's cups and even the band were too big. I do have difficulty in getting a good fit- there tends to be too much room in the top of the cup for me, so this bra is not alone in being rejected!
Great for support and figure. My husband comments all the time that nothing is sagging! However, this is NOT a t-shirt bra. The seems across the cups make it impossible to wear anything that isn't textured or VERY loose fitting.

I thought the Playtex 18 hour bras were just for "full-figured" and "mature" women. When a girlfriend told me how happy she is with this style I was skeptical. But I bought one anyway and after a week's trial, I love it. There's no giggle when I walk or poking with underwires. Just great all day support that give me a very attractive figure. I'm recommending it to all my girlfriends who are tired of mall-store bras that just don't deliver on the reasons a great bra is so important.
