I've been using Munsingwear briefs for many years and have become accustomed to their pouch design. These always fit perfectly and last a long time. They are obviously very popular because they are hard to find in stores and sometimes even online. I highly recommend this product, as well as other Munsingwear briefs.

Great brief for all occasions. The fabric is a soft cotton and if you purchase the correct size you won't feel them on your body. Pouch keeps everything in place with comfort and support. I bought 12 pair so far. I like to have extra because I work out with them on also. I wear them to church, school, work, even when I work out, this brief is comfortable.
I have bought these many times before and had to send back 1 set of them as was told by a girl I talked to they would shrink. They did not so giving those to [...] I have an old package here and I ordered them like what I had always ordered. They were at leave and inch to big in the waist and also way to long in the seat. Can't imagine what happened but surely won't be ordering them again. Lost of wasted money and also had to pay for shipping them back.
I like these type of underwear, they have changed location of where they are made since the last time I bought them and may be a little larger than the size but I believe they will shrink down to perfect like the previous ones.
Have purchased before and love the "Roo" pouch. In ordering this last time, however, I accidentally selected the "full rise" style. Unfortunately, I opened these and discovered on first wearing that to obtain proper comfort, I had to DOUBLE OVER the waistband! On previous orders I had never noticed this option, so ... I'm stuck with six pair that are not very useful to me. I know that returns after opening are not allowed. Too bad. Money lost.
I like the pouch style of briefs. I tried the competition (Covington) and found they stretch after just a couple of wearings.

Munsingwear is the only 100% cotton "pouch" underwear out there. Other brands have lycra and spandex in them so they chafe. Munsingwear is soft, comfortable and FITS perfectly. I won't buy anything else!!
I'm very active and on my feet all day and a good supporting brief is what I need to carry me through the day. These briefs don't have loose leg or waist bands and provide comfort all day and night.
These briefs are so comfortable, you are not even conscious you are wearing them. The leg openings are just snug enough to provide support, not overly tight, and stay in place regardless of what type of pants your wearing without riding up your leg, even while running.
I have been wearing Munsing briefs for over 20 years and will continue to do so as long as they make them.

I bought the first briefs at least three years ago quite by chance,, probably on sale. Had never heard of them. My husband won't wear anything but these. I had a hard time finding these, a lot of stores had them on back order. When they came, I found the material much thinner than the original, so I don't know if they will last as long, but other than that, he seems to be happy with them.

I love the pouch. The waist seems to be a little to high and I think that i may need a smaller size.
Due to the change in Munsingwear's fit, I am going to try a size smaller than last several purchases. The waist size is fine; however, distance from leg band to waist band seems to be a different cut pattern than past decade.
Maybe this new design would appeal to youngsters displaying their underwear above belt line.

I have worn Munsingwear exclusively for more than 50 years. I have tried baggy boxers--they make me feel un-dressed and uncomfortable--I threw them away. When I lived and worked in China, I had my secetary purchase Munsingwear and send it to me. It feels like a second skin which gives me proper support and is ALWAYS perfectly comfortaable.

I usually wear size 42 but thought they were a little small, so I ordered size 44, what a mistake. They fit more like a 46 or 48. Much too large to be comfortable.

my only comment/complaint would be about the waistband. Not sure if the material has changed since I last purchased this brand of briefs but it seems stiff and got very wavy after washing. It doesn't seem to lay flat like the "older" ones do or like the same style brief in another popular brand that I have also purchased in the past. Hope that it doesn't cause any problems or skin irritation when my husband wears them as that would be disappointing since this brand has been a staple in our house for over 30 years.

The "kangaroo" pouch is not something that I thought would appeal to me, but quite honestly, it was a quite interesting to find out that it actually is a more comfortable and easy means of "access" (guys, you know what I mean) in the restroom and so on. I am a big guy (6'2, 230lbs+) and also its very important for me that the size is right, and being between a waist size of 36/38, it is often hard since many fashion underwear tends to run on the small size (some even not going above XL, and generally those XLs feel like mediums). Anyway, thanks Munsingwear. I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend these especially to my big/tall cohorts out there!

Some underwear the leg opening get so stretched out you feel like you are wearing a "G" string. Not so, with these.
I was having urinary problems, and the Munsingwear's kangaroo pouch briefs allowed me to very easily insert an absorbant pad to prevent embarrassing stains. In a pinch, I was able to fold up a length of toilet tissue and use it in place of a pad.
What a life-saver. By inserting the top of the pad into the pouch opening at the top allowed me to keep the pouch in position, and a quick change, when necessary.
I highly recommend these briefs to anyone who is having bladder or prostate retention problems that are not too severe.
Saved a lot of mid-day underwear changes. A lot cheaper than "Depends".
Thankfully, my problem has ended, but I still have these great briefs for every day use.

I bought it for support, but it's a bit baggy in the body-waistband is about right. It woud be much better as poly/cotton.
The pouch front is more comfortable than traditional flat front briefs. The horizontal opening takes some getting used to but when I did, I like it fine.

Overall these are very nice quality but they compress my genitalia so tightly to my body that I tend to get swamp crotch in 70 degree or greater weather.
i was surprised, the reason i bought these was for the kangaroo pouch, i was not crazy about the styling, but when i got them i was surprised how comfortable they were, although they are a little roomy in the fit, the fabric is very soft.

The fabric is thinner than Munsingwear pouch style that I've worn previously. This is my first Munsingwear pouch style in 5 - 10 years, while I wore Jockey pouch style (that I cannot find sold anywhere now) mostly because I could not find Munsingwear during that time.

Apparently the older style of medium rise underwear is not made by Munsingwear anymore. I was dismayed at the "Full Rise" size, since the waist is much higher than I like. I find the briefs more comfortable if I fold down the waistband once or twice around the elastic.
Wish there was a clearer explanation of what "full rise" actually means, and whether there are other "rise" styles available.

After searching a long time in stores for this discontinued item I was elated to finally find them at Freshpair. They wear well and fit perfectly.
My husband absolutely loves these briefs and won't wear anything else. He really appreciates the design of the kangaroo pouch over the standard design mens brief. The briefs are very comfortable and the elastic is soft and flexible, holding up very good to wash and wear, day after day.
I got these as a gift for my husband who is very picky about his clothes. He did NOT like the pouch being different and rarely wears them. He has told me never to buy him anymore of this type.
I always wore Munsingwear for many years--however the last batch I got are badly made, don't fit properly, the material stretches and is uncomfortable. I think they need to go back to the way they used to make them--these seem to be really cheap. (And yet they aren't cheap in price!)

The horizontal ‘kangaroo pouch’ fly is great for easy access.
Munsingwear changed the design of this product. They've also lowered the durability. Bummer; used to be the only underwear I'd buy.

I have purchased expensive underwear in the past for many years ,I was on vacation and found the Munsing product and fell in love with the pouch.
I only wish they offered trendy colors and didnt feel so long.I think this is the best product and they should really try to market to the younger crowd.I am fourty but like more than tidy whities.

I was expecting the pouch to provide a looser feel in the front area while still providing the firm brief feel everywhere else. These feel just as restrictive as the non-pouched briefs. I'm going back to boxers.
I was given my first pair of Munsingwear by my Brother-in-law after his trip to Australia. I haven't worn anything else since. I find them comfortable, useful, and above all, economical. They wear great and are easy to keep clean. Big difference than what I was raised with, that's for sure.

Horizontal fly works perfectly, jockey makes some like this but fit is not nearly as good as Munsingwear.

I've worn these briefs, (when not wearing boxers, my first choice) for 55 years! The horizontal slit opening across the front and the little pouch design is by far the most functional style in briefs I've ever worn. Try three of these briefs, and you'll never wear any other design. Comfortable, long lasting, and highly recommended!!!

This is the authentic item. We had ordered from another company before and it was not the quality my husband had come to expect from Munsingwear. The elastic waistband on the others turned bright yellow with the very first wash! He is relieved to have found the quality he is used to. Thanks...[...]. We will be ordering additional items.
The elastic around leg openings is tight, and the design angle of the leg openings makes the fit a bit less comfortable than the Jockey Pouch. The Munsingwear pouch sags at the front and generally looks loose. It offeres less support than the Jockeys. On the other hand, my lastest Jockey order provided briefs that wore out very quickly. The grey Jockeys seem to be more durable than whites.

My husband has been wearing this brand and style for the over 20 years I've known him. It used to be difficult locating a store that carried them, but now I can simply order online. I usually wait for a sale to stock up,so I'm saving money as well as having the utmost convenience. So glad to have found Freshpair.
I have used the Munsingwear Kangaroo Pouch Underwear for years. The Munsingwear Company used to be based here in my home area of Minneapolis, MN and I always able to buy in local stores but are no longer easy to get but I found Freshpair and they do a great job [...]

Another (major) brand makes this style, but they're cheap and flimsy; the material covering the stretch bands wears out, exposing the rubber bands underneath; and they are way too expensive. The Munsingwear pairs I bought seem much more solid and well-constructed, and they are more comfortable as well. On top of that, they're priced lower. Highly recommended.

These are the best pouch style briefs I have found. Good fit with support and minimal roll in the waist band.

Looking for absorbent briefs too
I have worn these briefs longer than than I can remember. I am 66 years old.
They are the first to be cut to the shape of a man's anatomy. I look at other brands like a women who is a "D" cup would look at an "A" cup bra. I have tried imitators in recent years because my local stores stopped carrying munsingwear. The quality is not the same.
I originally purchased these for my dad - they are the only kind of briefs he will wear. After purchasing more for him, I also purchased some for my husband and son to try as well. My dad says these hold up very well in the laundry and keep the support he is looking for. I spent some time looking for these on-line [...] Thanks.
