I use the product for outdoor activities, walking, hiking and working outside. They are soft and warm. They actually seem softer after they are washed. I would like them to be slightly thicker.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Comfort Hiker Sock:
These socks are very comfortable mainly because of the Merino wool which is known world-wide as the best. I purchased them for winter use to keep my feet warm and dry especially when the weather turns ugly with cold rain, snow, and ice - as boot liners I will be totally comfortable!

Comments about Wigwam Merino Comfort Hiker Sock:
The ad on the website had (3 pairs) next to the name of the socks that I was looking at. For [$], that would be a great deal. I placed the order and when the package arrived, there was just one pair of socks in there. [$] for one pair is not such a good deal, especially when I had to pay shipping charges. I could do better in many local stores. I will now be very hesitant to order from this vendor again as the pricing is not very competitive. I think the ad was extremely misleading.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Comfort Hiker Sock:
This socks saved my feet. I love walking and sightseeing in big cities but usually wind up with blisters by the third or fourth day of vacation. At age 49, I have finally found the secret -- excellent quality socks. I bought these socks and three other Wigwam styles to try a sampling during a trip to New York City. My feet stayed comfortable. No pain or blisters. Best socks and vacation ever.
