Aids in more rapid warmup of muscles.

They are so much thinner than what they used to be so they wear out faster...

Terrific support for hockey

Husband asked that I return because the material was very rough.

great product i am a big man and this product is better than other compression shorts on the market very durable if your looking for the best compression short out there this is it

These are athletic compression shorts. They work well, launder easily. They are not the silky smooth shorts of some brand names, but they compress better. I wanted them to compress my hip joint for a torn labrum and to support my adductor muscles.

Only complaint is that the medium size compresses my 32 inch waist and hips, but only extends down to mid thigh. The large size covers most of thigh but does not compress the hip region quite as tightly as the medium. Also, the waist band is narrow and rolls over pretty easy, although this is not uncomfortable.
These are the best compression shorts I've found so far, and they do the job I wanted for golfing, skiing, basketball, and even just hiking.

These Bike Compression Performance Shorts are the best out there out of all the compression shorts. These give a athlete the support and compression needed for the person to perform at there best. I have tried dozen of different brands and Bike CPS COMPRESSION PERFORMANCE SHORTS 7626 MODEL IS THE BEST COMPRESSION SHORT FOR THE MONEY - Sincerely Kevin Greco

I wanted compression for my hips and hamstrings for skiing, golf, and basketball. The Bike material offered more compression than another current popular brand. Comfortable. But, I did note that my old pair (5yrs ago), were a size medium and compressed hips and full thighs. Now, the medium gives my size 33 waist good hip compression, but hamstring compression only goes to mid thigh. Large size gave full thigh compression, but less glute and hip muscle compression. So, I have bought both sizes. The waist band could be a bit thicker, and rolls over with the tighter size, but was not a comfort issue. They provided good wicking of perspiration, but also add warmth when i wear under my ski pants.
They are not as silky smooth or pretty as other materials, but that does not concern me.

I use this product for my sports officiating.I've been wearing this product for years. It keeps me from pulling a muscle and feels great to wear.

athletic sports support

It is necessary for a Sciatic condition and does the job that I need. No problem!

I use these compression shorts for powerlifting. They are the best shorts I have ever found. They have the added support needed during heavy lifting days.

This item tends to slip down at the rear when used in active sports. At first wash it started to seriously disintegrate at one of the front seams. It is now unusable.

Even a larger size than normal for me, feels like a sand paper wrapped tight.

I use compression shorts every day because I have a very physical job. Previous versions of these shorts have been far more durable, but, possibly, not as breathable. It would be nice to have both types available as an option.

HELPS SUPPORT AND PREVENT INJURY.

For a guy with skinny thighs these would be great. If your more athletic you might need to consider going up a size or try Russell Athletic.

After coming out of retirement after 6 years to play socccer again, I realized after the first game (and first pulled groin), I needed a good pair of compression shorts to keep me on the field and off the IR list. After giving up locally, I turned to the internet to find one of the staples that got me through high school athletics injury free (at least from a muscular point anyway)....BIKE compression shorts. Because the ones I had then (mid 1990's) held up so well, I figured I would get similar wear out of the new pair that I bought one year ago almost to the day. Unfortunally, I was wrong. As soon as I put the new pair on, I knew there was a difference. The material of the new ones were not as thick or supportive as the previous generation. The new ones might breath better and be more comfortable, but lets face it. If your wearing compression shorts at all, you're not wearing them for comfort, your wearing them for performance. As far as durability is concerned, the new ones

Worked well with a good fit but did not stay in place during active sports. Running was fine but playing racquetball, they fell down and bunched at the knees. Stopped wearing them because of it. The prior BIke shorts I had never had this problem.

A nice option would be to provide these compression shorts in a thicker material. These would make them less see-thru and more appropriate for running attire.

I am a true XL measured size. I suggest order the XXL size for comfort as XL felt a little too tight.

I had worn a pair of these shorts for 20 years playing sports and I am still wearing them but was trying to find another pair just like them and I did and was so excided when I got my new pair.

My husband has been using Bike compression shorts for the ten years we have been together. He said please try to find them, They are the only ones that work and I like them alot! There comfortable and they support my thights so I do not blow a Hammy and they last for a long time there great!! I've tried others and they do not compare so please try to find them. I went to alot of different stores and could not find them. I tried the internet and thank god you were there!! I bought four pair, two for my husband and two for my son.
