This is bra is deceiving, it looks like it is lightly padded, but it is heavy padding, so it does not hug the body like a glove. It changes the profile of your breast to look like something else??? Why would they do that?
I was very disappointed as I read other reviews, no one mentioned that it is heavily padded and stiff.
I am returning this bra.

i'm a 34DD and love this bra. i actually bought my bras (i have three of these) at a dept store in nyc and found them when the mystere rep and a store rep custom fit me. i tried two dozen bras and this was the clear winner. nothing else even came close.
i was a little freaked out by the price, but i have now had them for 6 months and these are the only bras i wear.
i was also freaked out at how BIG it seemed... i was used to a more sexy demi-cup bra and probably cheaper brands and it felt kind of like i was being strapped in at first. almost like a sports bra but with more rigging! and i worried it was too bland or old lady-ish.
but as i wore them i got used to it and now i'm addicted to the look (from outside my clothes) and support. i won't accept anything less.
this bra makes my chest looks awesome and perky (though not pointy) under tshirts and dresses. i swear it actually makes me look slimmer. even my polo-shirt work uniform looks cuter with this on underneath.
my only complaints are that the boning on the side did chafe in the beginning; the notes are right, the back band is tight at first. and that because it's so much coverage and because of the lace you can't wear it under some wide necked, low cut or thin strapped tops.
i am going to buy the non-lace version to see if that can work as well. but in general this is a FANTASTIC bra for big breasts and i encourage even girls who may normally go for something "sexier" to try this out... the way it makes you look in that thsirt will really be worth a little extra fabric.
