The pouch is connected at the bottom with the sides open, but the connection is to small and your balls will be sticking out the sides (unless you are very small. The C-ring can chaf if warn all day.

I have now sampled Intymen products three times. Each time I ordered several pairs of the style I was trying out. In each case, the actual sizing varied from pair to pair, even though all were marked XL. The bad pairs were actually L or even M. BAH!

I am 5'11", 192 pounds, do a lot of cycling, so my butt is a bit bigger, let's just say I am glad the large size is not any smaller. The back can tend to slide up from the bottom of your butt cheek but that is probably my body design. The front is cool, closest thing to going commando. It does give a bit of a lift to your package. I haven't worn them to the gym yet, but will see if I get any comments.

I wear these to the gym when I want more coverage than a jock, but don't want to wear a boxer brief. The soft C-ring does a great job at keeping the boys out of trouble while enhancing the bulge as a bonus. But unlike other brands, this C-ring is comfortable. The easy access sides are a great feature. Just remember to buy one size larger than you normally would.
