I ordered a large because I'm a 42" chest, I'm not model-skinny but the torso of this shirt would be tight on my chihuahua, the arms are exactly opposite: loose and baggy. I'm not sure this will work for layering either, you'd want snug sleeves, maybe I'll lose 30 lbs, cut the sleeves off and wear it.

Defnitely thin material if you're looking for an uber warm thermal. But I like the light weight weave, it makes it more versatile. Yes, the sleeves are a little baggy, but with an athletic build that extra room is great as well as the slimmed down torso. I did buy a size up to allow for shrinkage in washing. Nice fit in my book, though. Like the grey, yes I would buy again, especially at the price when it was on sale!

I purchased two of these thermals after reading the reviews online (e.g., sleeves too short, sized too small, etc.). However, based on my assessment, these thermals are an excellent addition to my workday clothes and weekend casual wear clothes. I wear these under a sweater, t-shirt, dress shirt, etc., so the tight and warm fit works well for me.
