Have found them to be long wearing, they keep their shape-even after numerous washes; almost grieve when they wear out !
These T's are basic must haves. The soft fabric is the perfect weight; thick enough so it's not see through yet light enough so that it's comfortable for layering. Perfect for wearing under shirts, sweaters or on it's own around the house. Excellent value!
The thing with these T-shirts is the size. Its a little bit big...So you have to choose a smaller size and then its ok. Good ratio price/quality.
My husband says these undershirts are great, and he is particular about what touches his skin.
These are great shirts and inexpensive to buy especially when Freshpair has them on sale. The fabric is heavier than most tee shirts and well made. Should hold up with washing.
The material of the collar is SIGNIFICANTLY thicker and heavier than the rest of the t-shirt...and you end up looking like there's a WHITE RING around your kneck. it looks very odd.
and they don't feel that soft either...compared to other brands.

A t-shirt's a t-shirt but Hanes has brand recognition and is very well priced for the Average Joe. I like my CN2, 2Xist and CK brand t-shirts particularly if I am wearing them out, but Hanes makes a great durable undershirt for everyday work wear. Why I chose Hanes over Fruit of the Loom: I've had FTL once before and found that the cotton yellowed and hardened much quicker. It lasted long enough for what I paid for it; so, if you're looking to turnover something quick, then I'd stick with FTL for the price/quality breakeven point. ...Similar fit although FTL seemed a little more sung in the armpit despite being the same size as Hanes. Nevertheless, I opted for this Hanes t-shirt in a size medium. The 'small' would have worked just fine; my chest is about 38" and I like a contouring fit.
