It's almost impossible to find truly opaque black tights unless you go for dancer's tights, which are hard to find in larger sizes. These tights from Hue come really close.

I bought the graphite heather which are hard to find and a nice change from basic black, a modern look. The colour is nice, I don't bother with control top and just use Spanx when I need extra compression. This is a good quality tight which is very durable, can last a season and has enough length so no constant tugging. I also would recommend this colour.
