I don't really see how the low-rise fit works. You can always just wear your underwear lower I suppose. The shorts are very wide legged and feel like the crotch is barely there. While this is comfortable around the house, it can sometimes be revealing. The fly is also short and not always the most accessible, I guess that is the most obvious characteristic of the low-rise fit. I expected them to be a bit more snug between the crotch and the waist but they are actually quite baggy and loose.
