as anticipated, the fit is great and the material is very soft without being flimsy. i have not yet washed them so i cannot attest to their performance in that venue [i was anxious to try them out so i cheated with one pair]. as regards fit, i was a bit panicked when the shipment arrived and the box said "hip brief". i never use that style; it comes off as a bustier. i ventured beyond my "standards". it was a first time with GA and i am very happy, especially since i bought 2 - 3 packs :o]
