I now have these in both black and white, and I think they are absolutely wonderful. They seem to be holding up very well in the wash, and they wear quite well. The black leaves a little bit more to the imagination than does the white, but not by much. The only issue I have with them is that the legs tend to ride up a bit and bunch, but the material is so thin it isn't uncomfortable, really, just a bit annoying when you notice it. I generally don't like boxer briefs because of the legs riding up, but I think Clever has done something right with these mesh styles. Very nice!

I bought this in black, which is what I would recommend. This item is best for sensual times, but I have worn it in semi-public area (such as work, locker room). If you can't decide over this kind of brief or this kind of trunk, I'd recommend trunk and also black instead of white. This shows off some, but not too much. Only the most self-conscious would feel intimidated.

These are hot. I mean, they are breathable and comfortable, to be sure, being mesh and all, but really they're hot. They leave just about nothing to the imagination, but still offer a modicum of support and keep things where they should be, accentuating all the right things.
