I am petite and find that I can adjust the bra straps without having to "re-sew" them. The shape of the back brings the straps out slightly to the sides of the shoulders and reduces the "railroad tracks" that I get in my shoulders. I wear a 36 DD, and that can get heavy. I have just re-orderd another 5.

This bra fits well and has great support! I have other bras by this company and they are perfect for me. I would not say it minimizes. The band fits well and does not slip which is important for support. I'm on the slim side and don't have much padding on my back so by the end of the day it feels a bit tight but I appreciate the support it gives so I'm not complaining. I can take it off by then!
